Learn fundamentals of how to play, yet allowing students to learn other styles of piano music they are interested in.
We play games and activities to help each student develop their piano potential. Currently we're playing water balloon games with rhythms, notes on the piano and staff. The students love how piano lessons can be incorporated outside.
Providing opportunities to play in the community, that produces more experience and confidence as a pianist.
Students complete tasks and musical concepts to help them succeed as a musician.
Spend time creating and composing new songs through games and activities, including Crazy Critter Composing. We make up songs about events that happen each day.

We have had a great experience with Andrew teaching our daughter piano. He works great with kids and has a wide range of teachable skills. He organizes fun events for his students that showcase their hard work. I am really pleased with our decision to enroll our daughter in his program, she has a lot of fun and has learned a lot in a short amount of time.

I can't choose a subject because Andrew teaches so many different things in his piano lessons that I would be doing him a disservice if I chose just one.

As a former piano lessons taker myself, I must admit that I had some lofty expectations for my daughter's piano lessons. On the first day of lessons for her, I knew that we were in great hands. Andrew has exceeded my expectations with every turn. And a fun and lighthearted way, and through games, activities, and fingers on the piano , Andrew helps the young learner learn the most important thing about music: it's fun! Theory is fun, composition is fun, ear training is fun, performance is fun. As a musician myself, I'd almost forgot. Andrew has helped me to remember, and is instilling these values in my daughter.

Thank you Andrew for being so awesome.

Over the past twenty-seven years, I have had the privilege of teaching people of all ages and abilities to play the piano. I have been a professional piano accompanist the same amount of time, playing with a wide variety of groups and soloists, learning from each experience. I pass on this knowledge to my students. I enjoy every person I teach, and make sure to tailor my teaching to their personal learning style.

"My nine year old daughter has been taking piano lessons from Aimee for nearly three years. I really like Aimee's approach. For beginner students, she uses structured lessons teaching the all important fundamentals. As my daughter advances, Aimee continues to stress theses fundamentals combined with tailor-made lessons drawing from my daughter's musical interests. Plus, her strong communication skills go beyond from behind the piano. Her administration of her services make it a breeze to arrange lessons, make up lessons, and the like. Lastly, Aimee is just a down right cool lady, who clearly loves music and enjoys teaching what she loves. Thanks, Aimee!"
