About Christopher

With eight years experience at Valencia College and 2 years at University of Central Florida I have experienced a wide variety of students between the ages 7 to 60 years. This experience has enabled me to customize lessons in one to one sessions with each unique student and their unique needs.

My teaching methodologies include plenty of visual aids, simile's, and clear communication with a strong emphasis on Socratic questioning to stimulate critical thought in helping to understand and take control of the information to be learned.

Sessions include visual and auditory components to learning and for students who need kinetic interaction to fulfill their learning process assignments can be assigned or custom problems can be created to be solved with an overview process of what is understood and what needs to be better diagnosed.

About Anne-Louise

I have been sewing ever since my wonderful Auntie Anne lent me her manual sewing machine one summer when I was a teenager. I sew clothes for myself, clients and even have an online store where I custom design clothes. I can teach you to make whatever you want. I will go at your pace so fear not even if you don't know how to use a machine. Let's have some sewing adventures together.

Anne-Louise has a very intuitive approach to teaching which matched my kinesthetic learning style. She helped me learn how to use my machine and I will work on a project so she can help answer any questions at the next lesson. We were definitely a fit. Thanks.

Sonya is wonderful! My daughter came hime after her first sewing lesson so excited about what she will learn. It took her 30 minutes, talking a mile a minute, to share every detail. Sonya made her feel comfortable and eager to learn more.

Ashwini assumed that I was married upon meeting her, and asked me when I was getting married as soon as she learned I wasn't married. She also asked where I was getting married, even though at the time I wasn't engaged. Even when I made it apparent I wasn't engaged, she continued to refer to my boyfriend as my fiance.

She would send me political things going on in India, even though I have no interest, and it has nothing to do with the lessons I was taking from her. She asked me if my boyfriend was voting, and many personal things that shouldn't be asked of a student learning Hindi.

She often moved my scheduled time around without asking, which meant that I needed to move my schedule around in order to attend her sessions.

As a teacher she was pretty good, but some things disappointed me there too. For instance, I made a sentence in which a jeweler was a woman, and she stated that can't be correct, because there are no woman jewelers. I'm a woman engineer, and it's really sad to see such a sexist thing. Even when I attempted to ask about how you would say something about a woman jeweler, she said it was impossible. Later she said nurses could only be woman.

About Natasha

Have you ever taken a lesson and the teacher move on before you fully understood? I have been teaching crochet for over 15 years and I know all the signs of a confused student and I know how to help. I don't just teach you how to crochet the stitches, but I give you ideas of what to make. My students love to make fun, quick, and easier crochet items that they can share with their loved ones.

I have crochet array of crochet stitches. I am great at explaining things so that anyone can understand. I have taught middle math for 6 years, so I know how to keep it simple but entertaining.

You bring the materials (I can help you find if needed) and I bring the help, knowledge, and confidence. By the end of the lesson, you will have a clearer understanding of your project and confidence to finish and share with the world.

I am available to do

lesson in-person, in my home, or online. In-person lessons should be 90 minutes long and believe me once you get going you would not want to stop.

After you choose me to be your teacher let me know what you like to create, so we can come prepared with the best materials and tools.

K, See you soon.

"I've had the pleasure to take quite a few lessons with Dan & I do not regret any of them. From the first time we've met at the pool hall he gave me a few
simple tips & I saw a dramatic increase in my game. He has worked together amongst the pros & also has many years involved in the world of billiards. Everytime I meet with him I learn something new and bring back home some new techniques to practice which are vital to the game. He has taught me the basic fundamentals & stroke mechanics in which I had struggled with. He provides great feedback & is overall one of the best around with tons of experience. Any time I have questions or concerns I can reach out to him with no problem. Dan always delievers! It is always a pleasure working with Dan, he is very flexible, great on communication, reasonable & has the patience to teach to anyone! If you want to improve your game or have a general interest in pocket billiards / pool Daniel is your guy to reach out to. I am one of his current student's & he has not failed me. Dan always has a great demeanour & is full of knowledge on & off the table. Call or email him now you won't regret it."

"Athan is a great instructor. He's patient, methodical, and adaptive. We had him for a group lesson, and he made learning poker super fun and easy to under
stand for us newbies. Even my husband, who is a seasoned pro, said he got a lot out of it. Highly recommend!"

"Sam is a truly fantastic teacher. I am a clinical counselor and very picky with giving praise to anyone in the helping and teaching professions, but Sam,
who (among other qualifications), also has a psychology AND teaching background, has a gift of making children feel almost instantly accepted, cherished, and excited. He is patient, warm, strategic but flexible, always adjusting to my daughter's needs in an instant. Sam provides that perfect combination of inciting commitment and a disciplined approach to learning while allowing a child to grow in his or her own pace and have fun while doing it that most children need, and I can whole-heartedly recommend him to anyone."
