John is very patient and knowledgeable. You can tell that he's been teaching for a very long time. I'm self-taught and have been playing for over 20 years and within minutes of viewing me play, John was able to pick out immediately my flaws. He gives me homework every week, and gives me a hard time if I do not do it. Exactly what I look for in a teacher.

Michael is an exceptionaly talented musician, as well as a wonderful mentor who has taught so many students and enriched their lives. He has students with only 2 yrs of experience who sound as if they have been playing for 20 years! What a Role Model!!! With a lifetime of experience under his belt, Michael has mastered music and recording. He will help you; It really doesn't get any better than that. I am a reporter for a good paper. I wrote this about Michael after an interview. Michael and his band had the placed packed, all ages, and everyone insisted on being as close to the music as humanly possible. Michael works as a guitar instructor and runs several studios. Michael is truly a "gifted guitar player" and his vocals are just as nice and polished. The Next time this gifted musician and band rolls into town check him out.

Mr. Becker is fantastic. My son has Asperger's and Phil was wonderfully patient. He often adapted the lesson based on my son's focus. Mr. Becker pushed my son to learn and excel but only as much as he could take without getting frustrated. In a short time, he learned the horn a did really well. I was very pleased and would definitely recommend Phil Becker to anyone.

Referred to Jon by a friend. I knew within 2 minutes of meeting him we were going to be happy with our choice. I love to listen in while he is instructing my granddaughter. He is so patient and kind but yet firm enough to manage a beginning student and keep them motivated. My 12 year old granddaughter practices every day without prompting because he advised her that was an expectation. I would highly recommend him!
