For all ages start at 7
The development of the piano lessons will depend on the level, goals, needs and available time of study of each student. Starting with board exercises that will provide independence and strengthen the fingers of both hands, studying at the same time the rhythmic figures, elements and symbols of a score.
I propose a flexible program to keep students excited and motivated, the idea is to make a diverse and entertaining class, although it is important to consider that the piano is a very rich instrument (rhythmic, harmonic and melodic instrument), which gives us many possibilities, but that requires constant practice to achieve a beautiful sound.
Expect to grow in every aspect of playing piano! It's not just about playing the piano, but HOW you play the piano. It's seeing you through your performances. I am very supportive of my students, but I do push them just a little to show them what they never thought they could achieve.
I've been teaching piano for 9 years and my students have gone on to gain acceptance to various arts schools, magnet schools, and college music programs. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to read and understand basic sheet music and as time goes on you'll be able to perform songs matched to your ability. I specialize in classical music, early childhood music education, typically use 3-4 method books, and have the following tools available for your lessons: professional quality digital piano, music stand, and various teaching aids. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!.
Experienced pianist of 20 plus years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of music theory skills and genre appreciation. I am open and flexible to the materials used during lessons - however prefer to include theory book as well as a lesson book.
