Painting Lessons in Lamar. Amazing Teachers.

I have been a professional oil painter for 36 years and have taught oil and acrylic painting classes fro over a decade. I teach a casual, fun but serious style class. My goal is to teach the basics of creating a simple strong painting in a semi realistic style. However, my goal is to allow the student to develop their own individual style. Understanding the creative process is also key to making good art.

Margarita has been teaching art classes for over 10 years. She's obtained her art degree from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA.

* Remote learning one-on-one.
* In-studio classes - Group lessons for max of 6 students per class. The art classes are designed according to Art University standards and curriculum, and best suit students with a big interest in arts. Each one of the students has an individual study plan assigned (taken into consideration the student's age, the level of art skills and personal goals in art he/she wants to reach.) The lessons consist of an art lecture, art project (drawing, painting etc.) and homework.

- Art Exploration Class - The Art Exploration Class is designed for students, who would like to try different forms of art. The projects include: collages, drawing, play-doh, papier-mâché, pyrography , polymer clay, painting etc.

- Drawing & Sketch Class - The Drawing & Sketch Class starts from beginner level up to college ...

GROUP CLASSES: I also offer group classes for friends , student and co workers .

Learn beginner or advance techniques in painting. I have taught over 500 students how to paint. Each painting lesson is tailored to your interest and where you want to develop skill. My schooling background is in classical painting methods, modern painting techniques, color theory and composition. I have been trained by masterful painters from all over the world and look forward to sharing all that I have learned with you.

Practicing Art teacher with over 15 years experience. Being a practicing art teacher means I practice what I preach! You can draw inspiration from my daily works and know that the skills and techniques I am teaching you will lead to a greater discipline in painting, drawing and conceptual works. I pride myself in connection and being able to know what to tweak and work on because I have been there myself, through self taught methods and a formal art education with my degree in fine art. I want my students to reach their artistic potential and aspirations while having a wonderful time!
