Max has been a stellar double bass tutor for my son. He caught on right away how to work with him and improve his playing, technique and music theory. You can really tell he has a passion for music (especially the double bass) and teaching. Will continue to have my son study under him :)

Max was very helpful as a teacher. He gave me a lot of good insight into picking the bass for bluegrass music. I've been primarily playing bowed music. I plan to continue my lessons with him.

Dr. Chaz is a very knowledgeable and patient instructor. He is an incredibly adept musician. He can identify what exactly you need improvement on and provides the most helpful advice on how to attain that improvement. I have studied music (flute) for 10 years with numerous teachers and band/orchestra directors, all very skilled and incredible themselves, but I never received clearer instruction than with Dr. Chaz. He explained concepts that many young musicians (like myself) struggle with and he beautifully portrays the relationship between theory, practice, and performance. Additionally, I appreciate his emphasis on ensuring vocal health and meditation- meditating pitches so that one can internalize the pitches to sing them more accurately. I was planning to remain his student for as long as I could but due to personal health and scheduling reasons, I had to discontinue and hope to return soon. I 150% recommend taking his lessons. Get ready to learn so much and expand as a musician!
Mark
Really great vocal teacher. He's very patient to his students. He goes on all the topics about singing. He's really good at helping his students prepare for a song. He doesn't waste time on any unnecessary practice. He teaches his students how to practice at home. I learned a lot of singing terms from him as well. Overall, I think he's a great vocal coach.

The first day I walked into Professor Lorella’s Spanish class I was so nervous, but she changed that feeling from that moment on. Professor Lorella is a caring, patient, and enthusiastic teacher! Every class was fun yet informative with many added creative exercises to help remember the lessons. She truly goes above and beyond to teach her students. Also, she is always easy to reach for extra help and questions outside of normal class hours. Professor Lorella made my 2 semesters of Spanish with her such an enjoyable experience! I highly recommend taking at least 1 class she teaches, I can guarantee you’ll want to take another one!

"I must be honest by saying that I am not a good student when it comes to learning a language. So I must congratulate Massimo on his patience with me as a slow learner. Despite my desire to learn Italian, desire is not enough. Massimo made things easier for me and much more interesting by combining my interests with the lessons for the day. For example, Massimo created lessons around my interest in Italian Serie A futbol and my interest in Italian history. We studied the many regions and some current events while learning basic Italian. Massimo also has a good sense of humor and easy going with his students. I would easily recommend Massimo to anyone who is seeking a tutor to learn Italian. Prepare to have fun while learning!"

Chris is a great teacher and he makes learning the language so much fun. He uses a diverse set of teaching materials including stories and songs. His travels to Italy also help to provide great background on the language classes. He's so positive and patient and extremely flexible with lesson scheduling which is helpful since I work full time. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is interested in learning Italian. The truest recommenation is that I was able to converse effectively while in Italy, thanks to Chris!
