Hi, my name is Andy. I've been teaching music professionally for the past 15 years. In that time, I've worked with students of almost every conceivable age and ability level on a wide variety of instruments (ukulele, guitar, bass guitar, banjo, harmonica, piano) and am here to help make your musical dreams come true.

I customize my lessons to the needs/learning style of each individual student with a focus on technique, music theory, and songwriting. With all that in mind, I'd love to hear about your musical goals and figure out the best path to get you there.

Experienced ukelele teacher of 10 years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of fingerstyle ukelele skills. I specialize in reggae, pop and world music, typically use Hal Leonard books (among others), and also have the following tools available to use during lessons: sound recording equipment, sheet music, and more.

Logical method and holistic approach; several years of professional experience as a teacher and performer; learn music notation, theory, musicality in styles such as hawaiian, jazz, latin, rock, pop, folk.

Ukulele is a great instrument to learn if you want to accompany yourself or another singer. It's fairly easy to learn, and very fun as you progress!

My teaching method is special because it is tailored very specifically to your needs. You are welcome if you're brand new to ukulele or if you've played for a few years.

I have been teaching privately and in music schools for 23 years and beginners are my specialty! I teach ages 4+. We learn songs that you are interested in. You will receive a balanced music education that covers all aspects of playing music.
