I have been taking lessons with LoriAnn for around 2 months now and can honestly say she is an incredible instructor. LoriAnn makes the most of each lesson and truly cares about her student's progress. As a guitarist myself, I can clearly see LoriAnn's incredible wealth of knowledge not only in the field of music but also with explaining the voice as an instrument. As with any instrument improving takes time, patience, and a great instructor. LoriAnn notices every small important detail, always has a strong answer to any question I have, and never runs out of ways to explain confusing new techniques. If you want an instructor that will take an extra 5 minutes at the end of the lesson to finish up a song, will never put you down or make you feel as if your voice isn't good enough, and establishes a comfortable and judgement-free environment for you to really learn how to sing, then LoriAnn is the instructor for you!
Sarah
Fantastic lesson! I had my reservations about the Zoom/online part, but it works just fine. She is able to see and hear me just fine. Lori Ann is really in tune with my personal singing issues. You never feel like any time is wasted working with her.
Victoria
She is so nice. Absolutely amazing. I felt a change in voice immediately. Her critiques are really constructive.

As a current college student, I am presented with a wide variety of different performance experiences including recitals, charity events, ensemble concerts, festivals, and many others.

I believe that music is an experience that is felt and understood differently among each person and because of this, all lessons are customized according to the interests, needs, and goals of each student. My students will develop a solid foundation of music theory, aural skills, and sight-reading that will prove to be extremely beneficial in their musical studies. My greatest desire is to help all of my students to ...

"My daughter Ashley has studied with Stacey for over 2 years. She is a wonderful teacher. She is very patient and makes lessons fun but productive. She wants the very best for her students and works very hard to make sure that they excel in their chosen field of music. Stacey always made sure that Ashley was prepared for upcoming competitions, college auditions and even helped her find scholarship opportunities.Stacey has also worked with numerous other students that Ashley attended school with and they absolutely love her as well. I would highly recommend Stacey to anyone in need of a good music instructor."

"Kareem is the man. I first met him while playing in the Pierce College Big Band--which he directs and is a perennial first place at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival. I studied with him for 6 months formally but over the past 2 years through his weekly jam session and mutual gigs he's become a tremendous influence in my life. Whether your a beginner on your axe or an aspiring jazz student of any level he is the instructor for you.
As an improvisor his main influences are Sonny Stitt, Dexter Gordon, and Joshua Redman. For any jazz musician on any instrument he is a master instructor of bebop. His overall playing versatility is solid but his forte is bebop. He is simply a beast of bebop and can aptly guide you along the path of musical enlightenment. Also, like most great jazz musicians his piano chops are excellent."
