I am majoring in mathematical and computational biology at Harvey Mudd College. I love math; calculus was one of my favorite math subjects in high school. I have been tutoring students (ranging from elementary school to high school) in various subjects for 6 years now. I have a lot of experience working with students with different learning styles. I’d love to help students understand the concepts instead of memorizing them. I will tailor the teaching style to whichever way you learn best.

I failed Algebra when I was in school . I felt that I was stupid and that I couldn't be useful at anything since I couldn't even pass a test the majority of my class did. I was good at philosophy so using my logic I came up with the reasoning that my problem wasn't nature born and that I needed to change . After weeks of reflection, I tried new books and new tutors until I found a brilliant teacher who offered to help me with his expertise lucky me it was for free so I took that golden opportunity and within a month I noticed a dramatic improvement in my math skills . I scored a C in my first exam and as my confidence grew so did my grades socring an A,A+ became something normal for me .When I graduated I made it into engineering and I am very close to becoming an electrical state engineer.
I am Mohamed ,22 years old, electrical engineering graduate. This is not the first time I am teaching online . In fact , I have been offering online lessons since late 2016 . I thought languages such as Arabic and gave few physics lessons but now I want to focus on mathematics as I have seen many o

I have 3 girls in High school (10th, 10th, and 9th) . they had been struggling in math since I can remember. I didn't think I could afford tutoring. They each had an 'F' in math.
I found Colin, and what a blessing! In just THREE short weeks Colin had my girls understanding HIS lessons, their CLASSROOM lessons and PASSING their exams! They brought their grades up too!
The best thing I can compare his tutoring to is: an adult teaching a kid to ride a bike...
He didn't expect them to just ride a bike. he took the proper steps and taught my girls about the bike parts, the way the bike functions, how they all work together, how to properly sit and pedal, and he even held them up until they understood it completely and eventually were able to ride the bike on their own.
Thank you Colin! for putting my girls back on track with math!"
When you're solving algebra word problems, it's smart to have a plan of attack ready to follow. Solving word problems may seem difficult, but when you read through the problem and can figure out what the specific equation is, it's no harder than a regular algebra problem. Here are some tips for getting a solid system of steps to follow when you are solving algebra word problems: 1. Read through the entire problem before trying to solve it. While it might seem tempting to start working on the …
