About Kelvin

I am a highly organized, outcome-driven and motivated professional musician and educator with solid experience in the classroom. For the past 25 years, I have been employed with Amati music academy and seven years on the faculty of University of St Francis.
I am very comfortable with all aspects of the current music syllabus, including teaching musical concepts (such as duration, pitch, dynamics, tone color, texture and structure) as well as performance, composition. I am fully qualified, with a Bachelor of Education in Music, Double Masters in music performance and education from University of Nottingham.
I am proficient in classical, jazz and Celtic fiddle violin and possess solid skills in piano (grade 8-13) Royal conservatory system.
Throughout my teaching career, I have been driven to help students achieve their very best. I str

ongly believe that music has the power to change lives – to enhance the social, cultural and spiritual lives of people, and serve as a profound medium of personal expression. Professional perform experience: The Chicago, Natalie Cole, Smokey Robinson, Three tours with Moody Blues, YoYo Ma etc....
The most important thing I look for in a student is communication skills, as well as talent. I like to nurture students and help identify their individual strengths, which is a key factor in shaping a musical persona that will make its mark both on and offstage. I do not advocate a uniform technique for all students. Physical differences and learning styles are always taken into consideration. Potential is as important to me as early achievements and experience. My goal is to help students become self-sufficient, discriminating artists. I discuss practice techniques often and develop individualized scale routines. I encourage initiative and expressive musicality as well as precision. Above all, music needs to bring obvious joy to the student, regardless of the difficulties.”

About Farobag

Music Director of the Chicago Philharmonia Orchestra since 1985, Farobag has also served as Managing Director of the University of Chicago Performing Artists Series from 1989 through 2002 and principal conductor of its resident professional ensembles. A skilled interpreter of Baroque literature as well, Farobag continues in his capacity as Artistic Advisor to the Baroque Masterplayers, a virtuoso ensemble that concatenates period performance techniques with modern instruments thus creating a unique voice within the realm of 17th and 18th- century repertoire.

A double graduate of the Eastman School of Music and the University of Rochester, Farobag studied under Anastasia Jempelis, a pioneer of Suzuki violin pedagogy in the United States. In addition to the Suzuki curriculum, he is also associated with the Royal Conservatory Music Devel

opment Program that sets a national standard of musical achievement in various fields.

Befitting his penchant for encouraging artistic interest amongst younger members of his community, Farobag is also the principal conductor of the Zoroastrian Symphony Orchestra that offers a unique mixture of young and seasoned professionals sitting side-by-side in a strictly professional setting. Since the year 2000, the ZSO has staged highly successful performances at various venues in Houston, Chicago, and Toronto. A New Year's eve performance in Los Angeles is scheduled for 2014.

Having also taken graduate-level coursework in educational psychology, mathematics, and philosophy at the University of Chicago, Farobag offers tutelage in various areas of elementary and secondary education as well as in SAT, ACT and GRE test preparation.

Additionally, as a certified Reiki Master, therapeutic and/or educational sessions are also extended to those who may be inclined to alternative healing techniques.

*** Lesson Details ***
Sheer technique is necessary but insufficient to play an instrument well. Aural skills, that include the study of functional tonality and voice-leading are important factors that impart musicality. This is of great import if the prospective musician wants the audience to truly enjoy his or her performance !

Whether it be the 3 Rs or preparation in the performing arts, a remarkable instructor must go well beyond the subject matter at hand and help imbue the student with a spirit of wonder that, in due time, will foster enthusiasm necessary for excellence.

A child emulates and learns to communicate in his or her mother-tongue through a supporting and nurturing environment. Likewise, a student needs to be sufficiently motivated to embrace learning in a familiar supportive manner.

*** Studio Equipment ***
The In-Studio lesson take place in the living room. Driveway parking. No pets.

*** Travel Equipment ***
None; I do expect a reasonably good piano / keyboard at a student's home.

*** Specialties ***
Traditional and Suzuki-based education. Performance and musicality training is open to all instrumentalists.

*** CD's***

About Molly

I’ve had the chance to learn from some of the greatest, and I am STILL learning from ‘em!

I think anyone can and should sing. Why? Simple. Singing is FUN . Singing is FREEING. You’ve got a voice- why not use it, and as often as possible? Your voice is unique and capable of soooo many cool things- just let me show you! Anxious? Shy? You're in very good hands. I have anxiety myself, and know just how to put you at ease.

I’m different than most voice teachers. I don’t make you practice. If you’re happy, I’m happy! If that means you want a lesson of all vocal exercises, cool! If you want to work on Puccini one lesson and Judas Priest the next.....niice! Why not? The more genres you try the more you’ll love music- and yes, you CAN sing as many styles as you want no matter what you’ve been told. I will never have you sing anything

you are not 100% stoked to sing- promise!

Maybe you don’t like your speaking voice and want that to be stronger for either professional or personal reasons. I do that, too. I can help you with confidence in basic conversations and accent reduction. Maybe you want singing lessons just ‘cause, and don’t ever want to sing in public because that terrifies you. I totally get it. And I say do it!

Acting? Music theory? These are also things I love to teach, especially newbies. I love helping beginner performers get confident in selecting material that shows THEM off- comic and dramatic.

Online voice lessons are my jam. These are especially convenient for those that are pressed for time or maybe a little shy or anxious.

I am the teacher for those that don’t want someone too …well….teacher-y. I want you to laugh as you learn, and love love love the results you’ll get . I understand what what it's REALLY about- expression and fun, not judgement . Vocal exploration that's 100% customized . Join me!

More about me:

BMus Millikin University, further studies Boston Conservatory . Coachings with professionals from Rossini Opera Festival, Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera. Rock vocals with Melissa Cross. In progress: Ultimate Music Theory Teacher certification.

Former students from ALL walks of life, including many beginners of all ages - an even an American Idol Top 12 Finalist!

*** Lesson Details ***
I teach in person ( Schaumburg, Northwest Suburbs of Chicago) and online via Zoom, FaceTime or TakeLessons Classroom, of course!

*** Studio Equipment ***
Sing and See Software. Additional materials I use: Funky n' Fun Vocal Exercises, Estelle Liebling Vocal Methods, Bona and Dannhauser for sight-reading, Full Voice workbooks for young and serious singers!

*** Specialties ***
Beginner vocalists! Very shy singers. Very young singers. Lapsed singers, and seniors. Post-menopausal voices, adolescent voices. About Randy

I have always been an actor first, it is the craft and discipline in which I hold my advanced degrees; it is my first and eternal love. There really isn't much more one could add to such a claim. Simultaneously I have believed a teacher is born, not bred; and I was born to be in theatre, and now, with a few years behind me; I'm ready to pass on what I have learned. At the risk of tooting my own horn; I am well trained, professionally, both as an actor and a teacher with more than a few credentials to support those claims. I invite you to please peruse my background on the site and feel free to ask any questions you desire.

Regarding Texas Hold 'em (poker), I have been playing and teaching the game, and working for online casinos for over thirty years. My approach is simple, requires extreme discipline, but I can show you how to win mo

re than you lose. And this is true of all subjects I teach whether literal or figurative.

My undergraduate Bachelors is in Acting & Directing I was taught by the same professors who launched the students that formed the now famous Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago (Illinois State University); I also have a Masters degree in Theatre History and Criticism (Theatrical Critical Theory). I have teaching experience both as a GA and in the private sector. I have been exposed to many different types of teaching styles and locales, (i.e. classroom, studio et.al). I hope that gives you a thumbnail concurrently I hope I didn't bore you to death.

Peace and Kindest Regards,
Randy

About Jennifer

I have been dancing in some form or fashion since the age of 3. I did ballet and tap recitals in preschool, took recreational gymnastics and cheerleading classes in elementary school, and did allstar dance and allstar cheerleading in middle school and high school. When I went away to college, I continued to take classes in many dance styles when I had time. I have never lost my love for dancing. My favorite styles are modern and ballet. I currently own a studio in the DFW metroplex and am excited to expand my teaching to online students!

About The Method Acting Studio

Our Studio led by the Actor Sam Medina is providing acting lessons for films and TV. Script break down, audition room, character work. Get the benefits of private coaching and BOOK IT!

When not in front of the cameras, Actor Sam Medina also lends his talent as a director for Episodic Television Shows. This fall, Medina will make his Feature Film directorial debut in the upcoming action/thriller UNTITLED SAM MEDINA PROJECT in Europe and Morocco. It will begin production in late 2019 for a release of the following year. He will also co-star in the film. In other news, Medina once more joins the Robert Rodriguez family of actors, lending his talent to the character of Stinger - the ten-foot robot in the animated feature Alita: Battle Angel, written and produced by James Cameron. He's also featured opposite actor Tom Hardy in the new Marve

l adventure Venom, and, in one of his most important roles to date, he's the lead antagonist opposite Mark Wahlberg in director Peter Berg's action/thriller Mile 22. Medina plays a special operative for a third world government determined to stop a rogue agent from revealing potential terrorist targets to the U.S. intelligence community. Currently ubiquitous in the action arena, he also played a good cop in the most recent Jack Reacher film, which starred Tom Cruise. A product of Honduras, Vietnam, Polynesia, France, mixed with American Cherokee, Sam Medina was born in Saigon, Vietnam, where he spent the first twelve years of his life living under communist rule. Thanks to his mother's determination and resourcefulness, he was able to move to the United States, where he grew up in New Orleans. It was not an easy life for Sam. When he first arrived in the States, he spoke no English and he was a problem child. However, as he became more settled, he learned the language and excelled in school, later attending he University of New Orleans. When the disaster of Katrina struck the city, the only work available for him was in the construction industry. Medina helped rebuild the city, then began to look into the other industry that was soon thriving: film and television. He began to drive to auditions all over the country - putting 300,000 miles on his cars. His first break was booking two episodes of the Prison Break television series, shooting in Dallas. Early on, he was also able to book the key role of the main villain's brother in Olympus Has Fallen. He was the only member of the attacking force to sport a Fu Manchu. He also portrayed Crawford, a Thai mobster/killer in Kickboxer: Vengeance and Kickboxer: Retaliation. His character will also be featured in the third film in this action series. How tough does Medina appear on screen? He was cast as a character who could intimidate Danny Trejo in Machete Kills. It took three helicopters to take him down. Because of his resemblance to a young Trejo, Robert Rodriguez cast him as "Razor Charlie" in the From Dusk Till Dawn television series - the same character Trejo played in the original film. Medina models his career similarly to that of Sean Bean. They mostly die their whole career thus far. So now, when Sam takes meetings with Directors/Producers and Studios, His First question is " Does my character die?" "How does he die?" Medina's additional feature credits include: Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans, Tracers, Savages, Dragon Eyes, The Baytown Outlaws, Let's Be Cops, Ant-Man, Our Brand Is Crisis, and Blood Out. His television credits include: Treme, Army Wives, Macgyver, NCIS: Los Angeles, Banshee, Let's Stay Together, Conan, The Messengers, Into the Badlands, Game of Silence, and he booked three episodes of Preacher, portraying the Samurai Guy. Between acting assignments, Medina can be found in his gym, where he works out with weights six days a week. He's also writing, studying cinematography and editing his latest short films.

OLIVER STONE, ROBERT RODRIGUEZ, ANTOINE FUQUA, MARTIN CAMPELL, EDWARD ZWICK-AND NOW- PETER BERG, SAM IS HONORED TO HAVE WORKED WITH THESE LEGENDARY DIRECTORS WITH SUPERB VISIONS FOR FILMOGRAPHY

Sam plans to add more to this already incredible list...

About Brandyn

I am a Multi-Award Winning Dancer, Teacher & Choreographer with a passion for advancing the dance art form as a whole!!!

I perform, teach and choreograph numerous styles and subjects in dance including, but not limited to,

- Ballet (Vaganova)
- Hip Hop/Street Jazz/ Jazz Funk
- Jazz
- Modern (Horton)
- Contemporary
- Lyrical
- Classic & Contemporary Partnering
- Improvisation
- Creative Movement
- Choreography 101
and more!

I received my BFA in Dance Theatre Performance from Marygrove College in Detroit, MI where I have tried to contribute to the overall condition of the dance community. During my time there, I trained with many renowned dance instructors and choreographers from all over the country. Among many awards and forms of recognition, I have received scholarships from outstanding programs such as Complexions

Contemporary Ballet, Deeply Rooted Dance Theater and Point Park University. These opportunities and others positioned me to work with artists such as Brian McKnight, Jodeci and, Jazz Artist, Jonathan Butler to name a few. Over the past 10 years, I've had the pleasure of dancing, teaching and choreographing for numerous competitive, pre-professional & professional dance companies throughout Michigan and surrounding states.

I have been dedicated to the empowerment of artists and the enhancement of our community and that passion fuels me daily. With that in mind, I created both a dance and production company to work towards those goals. In 2018, I received the high honor of becoming a Gilda Award Recipient with the Kresge Foundation for all of my endeavors. It was an amazing thing to be recognized by such an organization as well as fellow artists throughout my community.

Since then, I have continued to inspire particularly the youth. I have taken on a position as Co-Director at a multi-award winning, internationally-ranked dance facility where I am able to cultivate the future of dance everyday. I continue to dance, teach and choreograph throughout the state and plan to create growth within myself so that I can help others do the same.

Mr. Brandyn is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! He is an amazing dancer and pushes all of his students to be the best we can be. He's hard on us yet he understands each of our differences and encourages us to embrace them. When I take class with him, I mentally prepare myself to push my limits and seek results because I know that if I dont, I would be doing myself a disservice and futhermore, HE WILL lol. Mr. B has inspired me to become a professional dancer because I've never seen someone love anything as much as he loves dance. I want to experience a love that great. His passion for the art form oozes from him and I feel lucky to have him as a teacher!!!!

Love you Mr. B 💞💖💗

"Unparalleled Singing and Acting instructor, in skill, approach, and talent.

Danielle has taught my daughter Voice and Acting, and my son Voice. In both c
ases, Danielle got to know my children's goals and dreams, as well as what they most needed and wanted to work on. Both of my children looked forward to their lessons immensely, knowing they would be greeted with respect, fun, challenges, and intensive attention to their progress. Danielle is herself a talented performer, and since my children had seen her sing and have heard her voice-overs on TV and radio, they knew that she took their goals as artists seriously. My daughter is now 19 and, largely thanks to Danielle's instruction and encouragement, makes her living as an actor in L.A. My son is 17 and sings and plays horn in a professionally-gigging Jazz band; he is also clarinet section leader of his high school Marching Band, and a member of the school's auditioned show choir. He has twice sung the Star Spangled Banner at his school football games as a soloist. His skill, style, and especially his confidence were honed via Danielle's tutelage. My children's specific talents and goals, as well as their overall development as performing artists flourished under Danielle's dynamic and caring instruction."

"There. Is. NO. ONE. More. Passionate... This guy is a freaking genius! My son and I both take lessons from him. I feel bad that I hadn't posted a review e
arlier. Tyler's education history is extensive and so much fun to hear about. He was taught by Academy Award Winners, International Experts, and students of the Acting Masters: Stella Adler, Sanford Meisner, and even Lee Strasberg! I am so stoked to continue working with him, and I would recommend him to any one looking for a talented, passionate, knowledgeable, dedicated, patient and driven teacher. Because he is all of those things and much more.

The best part, (aside from the art)? His PRICES. I randomly asked him one day why he charged to little, especially because his agent takes a good chunk of it and he has an assistant to pay. He told me something alongg the lines of: "If I could afford to teach for free, I would. Seeing the development in the ability and heart of each student is is pay enough. I just gotta pay the bills so I can continue to even do this." Like, okay... He lives and breathes this. On average, he told me, he spends about 3-6 hours a day, just studying. He also performs and teaches on a regular basis. Like, how... Anyway, I am beyond blessed to have the chance to work with this kid. He's a great person with a huge heart and a very open mind. Anything you want to improve on as an artist, he'll make it happen!"
