Kelly did a great job showing me how to thread a sewing machine and load a bobbin, and get started on my first project. She has excellent cameras to show you close ups of her machine and to demonstrate what she is doing.

I have been playing guitar for 21 years. I make lesson plans based on each individual, so I don't teach every one the same boring songs or use the same regiment with everyone. I want to teach you what YOU want to learn.

About Jeremie

I'm a self taught guitarist who has been playing for 20 years. I have played professionally in numerous bands and ensembles ranging from jazz to folk to rock, and I've been writing music for the same length of time. Hiro is expert, fun and patient with our 8 year old. Our son is a newer player - beginner/intermediate (he learned basics at his school in second grade but a lot further to go)- and really gets excited and engaged with the game when Hiro plays and teaches him.

Piano is the general instruction of the instrument. I have taught lessons for over 23 years where I have been traveling to the homes.
The students learn not only the general concepts but they also learn Theory which is the understanding of what lies underneath the music itself.
I have an easy going personality with the students learning how to play the piano, but I also want the students to work to their full potential.
The students learn not only the basics of the piano itself, but they also play fun songs, such as popular songs that they know.

About Teresa

I am a graduate of Northern IL University with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. I have 22 years of teaching experience where I have traveled to the homes. Students enjoy my passion that I have with the instrument. I started teaching in 1991 and have been teaching several students since t

Takes time to explain. Not only the lesson but also the why. Background info as well. I had a very nice and interesting first Tai Chi lesson. Definitely think Ron can help me very good to become a good Tai Chi student.
Chris
Ron is an extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient instructor who teaches true Qigong Tai Chi from China. I have had the best experience learning from Ron. He can break down every movement so that I can easily understand it but also will continually tweak my Qigong to improve my technique, my body flow and my body transformation. I highly recommend Ron if you are hoping to learn the true ancient martial art of Qigong Tai Chi or any of the martial arts that Ron teaches.
John
I am a long time martial arts student and have been extremely pleased to be learning from Master Instructor Ron for the past three and a half years, My training with him began in-person but moved to the online zoom format in March of 2020.

Ron's expertise continues to shine through in the online format as much as it did in live training. I currently participate in a group class, periodic special training seminars, and a weekly private lesson. His depth of knowledge and attention to details regarding what students are learning is first rate.

I previously studied with several other Tai Chi Chuan instructors, and I can say without reservation that Ron's teaching is far and above the quality of training I received before.

Ron's teaching style is gentle and meets the student at whatever level they are at. However, he will challenge you to go beyond what you may think you can do but within the limits of reason. He is always focused on safety first in your training.

If you are seeking an honest, caring, and professional Tai Chi instructor, you will be hard pressed to find anyone better suited to helping you achieve a greater level of expertise and deeper understanding of the art than Master Ron.

"I loved my class with Rhiannon. I was a little unsure about how an embroidery class would truly work online. However, my class was clear, enjoyable and I particularly liked how Rhiannon showed me how each stitch I learned today, can be used to create specific effects. She used her own embroidery projects to illustrate this for me.
I can't wait for my next class!"

"I was timid and shy. I could barely speak English and I had no business using a sewing machine let alone sewing together an original piece.
I found Laura on takelessons and decided to give her a try.
4 lessons later, I'm highly confident. Fluent in english, and I can sew together designer pieces that would make anyone's jaw drop.
Laura is my bastion to success, and I highly highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn."

Chess Openings & How To Start Your Game Strong

As a game, chess is traditionally divided into three phases: the opening, the middlegame, and the endgame. While all three are important, today I’m going to help you start out strong in the opening. When I first learned how to play chess, I played openings that really did not help me improve and left me with an awkward start to the game more often than not. Eventually, I adopted some of the openings that I will show you in this post and my rating skyrocketed. Opening Principles The first …

Basic Sewing Stitches for Beginners

When it comes to sewing, if you’ve only familiarized yourself with the basic running stitch, then it’s time to broaden your horizons. There are many different types of sewing stitches that allow you to achieve certain goals. For example, if you want to sew an eyelet, you’ll want to master the blanket stitch, but if you’re looking to add a clean finish to a raw edge, go for a zigzag stitch using a sewing machine.  In our hand and sewing machine stitch guide, we’ll review the man …

5 Questions Every Jewelry Designer Should Have An Answer For

Interested in trying your hand at jewelry design? Before you begin, consider the following 5 questions, as outlined by Nashville jewelry designer and teacher Warren F... Susan felt very unsure of herself. And unsure of her jewelry. Would people like it? Was the color mix appropriate? Was the construction secure? Was the price smart and fair? She allowed all this uncertainty to affect her design work – she had difficulty finishing pieces she was working on, starting new projects, and getting …
