I have been teaching small group classes of children between the ages of 5 and 13 since 2010. My favorite memory from my earliest class was when my 10 year old student went home and adjusted her mother's sewing machine to sew properly! I have taught classes from very basic sewing machine skills to machine quilting.

About Angela

I learned to crochet in grade school, taught myself to knit and learned to sew from my mother at a very early age. Teaching grade school children/students is my passion. I believe learning to knit and sew can help students learn a level of patience and persistence that will help them in their schoo

I am bubbly, outgoing, patient and FUN! I love sewing and teaching. If you have always wanted to learn to sew or take your sewing to the next level I am the teacher for you!

As an Army wife we could not afford certain luxuries like drapes. I learned to sew in order to make each of my houses feel like home. I also made bows and dresses for my daughter. Sewing has become my passion. I am also an early childhood educator, I love teaching.

Teaching sewing classes brings my two passions together.

Let’s start with the obvious first: when learning how to sew, you develop many skills such as understanding a pattern, operating a sewing machine or getting to grips with the specialist terms. But there’s so much more to sewing!

Sewing has taught me so many life skills and invaluable lessons:

Planning
Good things take time
Attention to detail
Sometimes things don't turn out the way you had planned or hoped

If you pick me as your sewing instructor I promise to teach you how to sew and how ...

About Mary Beth

I am a professional early childhood educator and a sewing professional. Sewing students can expect to improve week to week in their sewing technique. I teach beginner sewing students all of the basics of sewing. For the more advanced students we can work on specific projects using a wide variety o

"Angela is awesome! She is kind, patient, organized, gives clear instructions and very easy to work with. My dogs barked the entire time and my home is less than white-glove clean; but she puts you at ease and you never feel talked down too or judged in any way. You will not be sorry for choosing her as your teacher."
