I teach lessons to any grade/age group. I have an extremely open mind to teaching and music in general, so nothing goes out the door in terms of philosophy, however, I've come to realize that some methods work better than others. That said, I tailor my attention and focus as an educator to the needs of student I'm teaching in front of me. I don't consider the student who just walked out of the lesson or the student who is coming in next. I put my all in the student who is in front of me because I believe time is an essential asset to lessons. Also, every case is so uniquely different in terms of students and I take a good amount of time to calibrate the learning style of every student.

Berklee College of Music student who majored in Electronic Music Production & Sound Design, as well as Music Business. I was also mentored by a platinum selling producer. I love helping others and giving back the knowledge I have in music. I grew up classically trained on the clarinet. I have been teaching ukulele for over 5 years. Curriculum is student-specific but in most cases will include chord theory, strum patterns, finger picking, etc.

As a full-time working musician in the Boston area, I bring my experience as a composer/arranger and music director. Over the past 4 years, I've worked with children, teenagers, college students, and adults returning to the piano. Although I grew up studying (and loving) classical music, I've also written and performed pop, jazz, celtic, and music theater, in addition to writing music for indie films. I believe in catering to the student's interests while providing a foundation in learning to read music notation, theory, and developing good practice techniques.
