I have over 5 years experience with the speaking voice, studying Fitzmaurice "tremors" and Skinner's "distinctive speech". I will teach you how the consonants carry the action of the word and the vowels carry the emotion, as well as how to use this to explore the choices an actor can make with the text.
Originally from Miami, Florida, born to Cuban parents, I first attended the University if Pennsylvania, where I received a degree in marketing and communications from The Wharton School, with a minor in theater arts. Upon graduation, I moved to Los Angeles and trained at the Tony-award winning Sout

My private lesson with him was special too. I remember feeling a bit vulnerable and self conscious in the first few minutes, wondering how we would connect on how to help me. I was put at ease as he listened to my thoughts, partnered with me in a quick exploratory dance, took the reins, and led me through an educational sixty minutes. I liked the way he made the specifics he was conveying accessible through brief relatable personal examples. I've had many people speak to me about frame, but the way he approached it and me was the way that has me doing better (I think!) I found Tom to be incredibly professional, personable, respectful and helpful.
I would certainly benefit from more time in his care.

I think that today there are some incredibly talented people out there who either think their story is not good enough or think they don't have enough to tell it. I'm here to tell you the truth and help you bring your ideas to the big screen.
I am an Award-Winning Filmmaker, I have been teaching Filmmaking for the past year around the world and I have built a community of other Award-Winning filmmakers whom I currently work with today. I like my students to be the best they can be and I have the ability to help them bring that forth.
Today we have access to a mega-powerful tool that can bring our ideas from text to the big screen in a matter of weeks. To go from a photo to a billboard. A group chats to a leading production team. A voice memo to a hit song. Today, everyone can be heard in high definition, seen in 4k, and sha
He learned by him self so much and helps you do the same yourself!
I recommend him for Video Production or Film Production too. Check his work, the man does a lot of different things and all of them very good.
I totally recommend him :)

Her techniques and exercises are amazing to watch as the intended result will come out of the student that she is working on. I learned just as much watching other students in the class go through the techniques as I did during my own performances and critiques.
She has a beautiful presence and I instantly felt comfortable around her like I'd known her for a long time. I think that is so important to feel that trust and comfort when opening yourself and exposing things dealing with singing and performing.
I can tell that she is very passionate at what she does and she is VERY GOOD at it as a result. She wants to help people in a positive way and is very encouraging.
I also love how her exercises are not only physical but get you thinking ahead about positive wonderful things that are of your dreams; it helps you to envision and eventually attract the positive things that you dream of. For example, she had us describe our "perfect 24 hour day". That was an amazing concept to me. If you can envision your perfect day and your perfect circumstances, you are so much closer to actually achieving them! These exercises help and instantly translate to better singing and better performing as we witnessed in the class. She is full of these tricks and techniques!
I would highly recommend working with Jan. She has a wealth of experience and wisdom to share with as many students that are lucky enough to work with her."
