Great teacher! My 3 yo daughter loved her music lesson with Sarah.

Sarah was energetic, positive, and kind with my daughter, age 11, who was really struggling to get a handle on a song for a play she has been trying to train for. This was her first voice lesson ever. My daughter was drawn in immediately by Sarah’s practical and happy approach and felt more capable and comfortable at the end of the session and is definitely looking forward to the next one. Hard to ask for more than that in a first lesson!

I am passionate about giving lessons, my students thrive and learn to understand that as they were given a unique talent to tell stories through music, it is important that they do that to the absolute best of their ability.

There is a saying that goes:

"People will not often remember what you say, but they will always remember how you made them feel"

Many people have been given different gifts but when someone hears you sing a song that is near and dear to their heart, using the gift of voice, I want them to remember how you made them feel.

People always say that I leave it all on the stage when I perform, well that's where it belongs. I want to touch people, make them remember great experiences they have had and even some sad moments.

I want to inspire them, cause nostalgia and emotions of every type with my performance of a song. This is the language I speak, I sing music and I help people to relate the experiences of their lives to the music they hear.

If you inspire to ...

My time with Jeanette was short, but very memorable. She helped me to better understand how singers learn from recordings, and shared many valuable little tips that I still think about to this day.

She’s tough, and pushes you to do and be your best. There’s no way you can lose with Jazz on your side. After several months of lessons with her I recorded a song I wanted to be played at my own wedding.

People heard it and were shocked, I’m pretty shy and timid, but Jazz brought out the best in me, she helped me to make the most important day of my life even more special, thanks Jazz

Jeanette gets to the core of exactly what you need in order to expand the range and control of your voice. I’ve been taking lessons with her for a little over a month now and during that time not only has my confidence significantly grown, but I finally feel that I'm gaining control of and expanding the range of my singing voice. I'm very grateful for everything i've learned so far with Jeanette and am looking forward to continuing my vocal journey with her!

Pick a song you want to learn - I'll teach you how to play it! Want to learn how to write your own song? I can teach you!

I focus on your interests as a guitarist, and develop the lessons from there. I really listen and get to know you as a guitarist, a songwriter, a bandmate - however you see yourself, and help you achieve your dreams. All my lessons are rooted in a firm grasp of music theory, proper guitar technique, and a deep understanding of music history.

I've been teaching private guitar and songwriting lessons for over 10 years and have been a performing professional guitarist for 15 years. I've earned a bachelor's degree in music from the University of Oregon and have performed all over the United States and Canada in one band or another. I have extensive experience as a recording artist, and my work has been featured in several full length albums, EP's and singles as well as several independent films. After years of working on my scales and feeling like I still didn't know my way around the guitar, Tom was able to explain how to play scales vertically in both major and minor keys in just one lesson. No one before him had been able to explain it in such a way for it to finally click for me. Since then, I feel like my shredding skills have improved 10 fold and I have fallen even more in love with playing and jamming along to my favorite songs. Tom is patient, kind, calm, and an incredibly skilled guitarist that anyone would be lucky to learn from!

Thomas Dawson is a very informative, positive, and educational guitar teacher. He’s degree in music from University of Oregon is proof of his vast musical knowledge. His focus on rhyme will be sure to help you become a great guitar player. Above all he is a great person and fun to be around. After taking lessons with Tom my guitar skills and musicality vastly improved. I highly recommend him has a teacher.

David was my first online clarinet coach and you cannot have a better teacher when you want to learn quickly and correctly. I took 13 lessons and it changed my life as a clarinetist. I highly recommend David.

there are many clarinet players. Some are good, few can teach, and a minuscule amount are both. You have just found one of those few. This man has judged at international competitions, and has incredible patience and memory. He has studied under an understudy of the founder of the american school of thought for clarinetists, and always knows what you need to know, even if you are only in 8th grade.

This is the one.

"Amber met me at her door with a smile on her face although I was much too early due to my over active excitement at arriving for my first lesson. Her first words to me were, "I'm so proud of you." That was a complement connected to my age of 83. I could have hugged her. Our lesson consisted of warming up my vocal cords after a long period of not singing. It was noted because of my hearing loss, that I was having trouble pitch wise and this would be something for me to work on besides my breathing. Amber's lesson was exactly what I needed and I can't wait for my next lesson."

"Teresa is a wonderful intuitive teacher who takes her time to help children that are not so musically tuned to appreciate music. My 11 yr. old boy did not know what instrument to play nor did he want to play one, but Teresa was able to pinpoint one that he could start with and he progressed so much. My 6 yr. old daughter enjoyed a more free spirited song and instruments approach where she was introduced to sounds and singing. Milena wants to play the Piano now. I my self never played an instrument and I wanted my kids to be more tuned than me, I am so lucky to have found the guidance of such resourceful and kind spirited Lady. Thank You Teresa."

"Excellent teaching style!

Vanessa has incredible wisdom for the VOICE! She has so much to offer in the way of teaching both the knowledge and the physical aspects of speaking and singing. She is so encouraging and upbeat. A few sessions we laughed and laughed. The first time I felt the strong vibration of my own voice in my head (like a bell vibrating and ringing) I laughed so hard! It tickled and I had never felt anything like it before! It is cool! She is helping me heal and recover my voice and I am so very grateful!
I was in the middle of doing a voice acting job and just the other day my customer said she loved it because the final record was confident and had more pep than the previous records. I am so happy about that!
My voice acting school instructor told me I would benefit from singing lessons. I knew I needed to take them if anyone was going to take my business skills seriously. I was right and so happy to have found Vanessa for the job!!!
I will be going back to Vanessa for more classes early next year for the continuing of my progress! She is an excellent teacher and someone I love to have as my mentor and guide in the voice industry! Thank you all so much!!!"
