I appreciate Scott's relaxed style. He is able to make a realistic practice schedule for me to fit in to my work week. It is obvious he is very knowledgeable and has given me a lot of good tips so far. I would definitely recommend Scott.
Rush
I took weekly electric guitar lessons with Scott from 2004 to 2012. He is without a doubt an extremely talented, enthusiastic, and compassionate teacher. Whether he was helping me learn basic chords or teaching me complicated songs, Scott never wavered in his dedication to teaching. Over the eight years as his student, Scott gave constructive criticism in a courteous manner. He was on time, inquisitive about the songs and music I was listening to, and ended lesson with new material for me to practice. I wholeheartedly recommend Scott to any aspiring guitar student.

"I’ve known Loren as a person for a long time and have valued her character and hard work forever. I reached out for guitar lessons and couldn’t believe her hard work and ability to schedule me for lessons! She was so patient, kind and made me feel like I could accomplish anything. She took the time to describe each element of the guitar and answered every single question. I would recommend her to any other no matter the age!!!"

"Austin is great! He takes the time to learn his individual students and teach them in a way that they can comprehend the information and succeed. He's teaching me practical guitar skills as well as theory. Incredibly patient and whoa his knowledge of the guitar is incredible! His interaction with my 5 year old daughter is awesome...he listens and even though she is not his student, he gives her the opportunity to learn something while she's in the lesson with me. It's been a great experience so far!"

"Joe's knowledge of guitar is expert and spans a wide variety of genres. It's rare to find a guitarist who considers phrasing and dynamics while playing, but Joe does exactly this, breathing life into all his licks with mindful control over volume and articulation. I've learned a lot about Blues chord progressions, and I'm sure a guitarist of any genre will learn a lot from him. Highly recommended."

"Greg is the kind of teacher that has the skill & ability to set you up with a strong musical foundation to carry the weight of becoming whatever you desire in music.
He does this with a good balance of understanding that not all players want to be the same 80's rock god he trained to be. He knows how to talk/instruct to someone from any age or musical background without being condescending or pretending that he knows better than you as to what sound you want to be able to make.

He's very diverse! This is perhaps, personally, my favorite thing about Greg.
Music is about so much more than technique & theory, it's about style & artistry. This is an understanding & guidance that YouTube could never give me like Greg did.

Though he was the guy who helped me pick out my 1st guitar, he also helped me fill in the other areas in my musicality by instructing me in some bass & drums. This has been invaluable as a worship leader to communicate to all parts of the band. (Seriously, if you pay for lessons, pay a REAL musician like Greg, who can see the gaps you can't)

The only reason he's getting a 4 out of 5 is for the setting in which I was taught.
It began in a hard to find downstairs area of a multiplex building. Then the backroom of a music store where he was constantly needed to step out & assist with other things because the store was a start up business.
It was like 10yrs ago, & the locations & setting have likely changed.
Call me harsh for docking his rating, but I was paying my own way & felt really upset by parts of my lesson time being taking up for other things, or waiting outside a locked building when things should have started on time."
