The voice is the grandest instrument of all instruments. For over 25 years, Steven B is one of the best instructors out there. He teaches in students’ homes across the United States as easily as in the Coronado Music Studio. Provide teaching at all stages. All skill levels taught. Complete beginners are welcome. Mr. Steven B intersects methodologies of Bel Canto, Alexander's technique, and the secrets of singing. By the way, Alexander’s technique can bring back to health a damaged speaking voice, as well as keeping the singer’s voice sound and pain free. Broken down, singing involves three areas: mind, technique, and performance. There are many technical concepts to train in singing. From vowel shapes, to understanding consonants, to landing gently on high notes. Great technique leads to great expression. Mr. Steven B is skilled in preparing a student for an audition or performance. The chief purpose of singing is to bring oneself joy. Prepare to learn a lot and have fun!

"I can't sing." That's something I hear from a lot of people when they find out that I'm a singer. My response: EVERYONE can sing. That's why I teach singing with three easy basic concepts: Breathe, Imagine, and Trust. Breath is the foundation of singing on which all other elements of healthy technique are based (vowel, enunciation, phrasing, etc.). Imagine is all about learning what's possible with your instrument, and Trust is what allows your body to make your Imagination a Reality. Whether you want to sing in your living room or in front of thousands of people, I'll work with you to make sure you have the technique and the confidence to do so.

About Ethan
I started my musical journey in 2010, when I was in sixth grade, with my community theater's production of the Wizard of Oz. I fell in love with musical theatre for the emotional drive of storytelling music, and I later brought this to every kind of music I studied: classical, opera, jazz, folk, an

Kat has been an excellent voice instructor for my 8 year old daughter. She is kind and patient, yet has a buoyant energy that engages my daughter in a way the some teachers cannot. The techniques and skills she is imparting to my daughter are invaluable. I highly recommend Kat for anyone (of any age too!) looking for high quality voice lessons."
