*Brass teacher with 20 Years of performance and music education
Hello, and welcome to brass lessons!
My goal is to help you the learner feel empowered with resources, practice skills, and confidence enough to continue learning your instrument and reach the next level with or without help. I truly believe that anyone can learn to play an instrument!
Teaching, learning, and music are passions of mine! Whether you are a beginner who has never played an instrument before, or an experienced musician, I have experience with all levels and am thrilled to teach you.
Euphonium is my primary instrument, but I have experience teaching and performing on all of the brass instruments, and competed on a national level at the Leonard Falcone Festival two times!
I have taught instrumental music for 16 years in the public schools, and have taught privately for over 20 years. I have my bachelors in Music Education, and my masters in conducting.

I teach each student the music they want to learn, in the way they want to learn. I teach all styles of music to all levels and ages.
I want my students to feel good about themselves and what they're learning.
I am a warm, patient teacher and an excellent musician. I love to see students learn and succeed, and I love to answer outside-the-box questions about music. Whatever you love about music, I can help you master it!

I also like that he is helping me with ear training. I've had previous experience with reading music, but he is really expanding my horizons with listening to music and trying to figure it out by using basic principles. This is a way to learn that I hadn't experience before in guitar lessons in the past, and I think it's a great way to learn.
I'm looking forward to many more lessons to come. This has really helped me to enjoy playing the guitar again!

Hi there! I'd love to help you with crafting your college application essays!
College admissions have grown increasingly competitive. This means that the personal statement could be the deciding factor of who 'stands out'. While this can be scary, it's also a great opportunity to speak your voice in a way that reflects what you really want to say, in the way you want to say it. It's a chance for you to write something authentic that you can look back on with pride, even years later. Let's work together to make this happen. Let's bring your voice to the forefront. Only you have your voice. And *that* is what matters. That is what stands out.
I have professionally helped students with their admission essays for over eight years. I will provide a patient and thorough review of your essays with detailed feedback and guidance to encourage self-expression that makes an impression. Let's have conversations that help you gain a clearer vision of what you want to convey and how, brainstorm ...
