As the award winning pianist with doctorate in piano performance, I have performed at several different nations in the world and taught at Piano Academy and a few universities over 25 years teaching from the beginners to doctorate/professional pianists. With many years of experience as a performer and piano educator, my piano lessons are customized and catered to each student's learning style and goals for the most optimal learning experience. While they will LOVE to play the piano music, they will also be building a great foundation of piano technique, music theory and performances. I teach classical music, traditional/contemporary worship songs with improvisation and accompanying. Through my years of teaching, my students have won many competitions and earned highest scores at the state piano exams and pursued music as their profession. I look forward to working with you to create the MOST BEAUTIFUL MUSIC!

I add sight-reading in a book with other sources and games to learn how to sharpen your skills. Scale studies, finger patterns, music theory, and composition. I hold a spring concert every year to show off your talent!

I offer lessons in how to play, how to read sheet music, and how to listen to music. As your instructor, I will talk about your goals and form your lesson plans accordingly. I will also assign exercises to improve technique. I look forward to helping you achieve your musical goals.

I believe learning to play the piano should be fun! I do focus on theory and technique which are important. I strive to cater to my individual students and have them play songs that they enjoy.

I have been teaching private piano lessons for five years, and I love working with children of all ages and skill levels. I have been playing the piano for 17 years, and began at a very young age. Because of this, I strongly believe that if there is a desire to learn, the age you start does not matter. I work well with both beginner level students and intermediate level students. I was taught using the Suzuki method, and I use parts of that method in my own teaching. I also incorporate basic music theory lessons into my teaching.
