In just 1 class you WILL be acting in at least 3 scenes, AT LEAST. He will unlock your full potential and sometimes that means digging deep into yourself, making you learn or confront some possibly scary things about yourself.
Despite this hard working down-and-dirty nature, he is an extremely warm, kind and fun person.
His critiques are genius and he always seems to know exactly what to say to make you understand and to help you.
I cannot recommend Joe more highly, he is amazing!

I am a voice and acting teacher specializing in musical theater and pop rock and other commercial forms of singing. I have training in all different acting techniques and I focus on audition and competition prep. I help performers fuse their acting and singing but can also focus on one aspect if the student so chooses. I work with many students on college auditions and thespian competitions as well. I teach all ages up to adults since I am also an adjunct faculty and have experience in teaching at the university level.

Nice to meet you! My name is Ben!
I earned my Master's Degree in Theatre Education from Emerson College and I've been directing and teaching acting both professionally and in academic settings for 4 years. I excel in meeting my students where they are, no matter the skill level, and working with them to find acting techniques and methods that work for them as individuals and raise their skill level and confidence on stage. My lessons are always practical, and you will always be up and moving; trying out different techniques and exercises as you hone your craft. I can work with you on audition techniques, improvisation, character development, physical movement, stage presence, and much more! Shoot me a message if you're ready to take your acting skills as a performer to the next level!

Ben directed the musical Into the Woods, and I played the Narrator/Mysterious Man. At first I was a bit unexcited about the part, but Ben's direction shaped it into my favorite role I've played yet. I believe it was in this show I began to immerse myself in the parts I played on stage, and I mostly credit that to him. I saw some of the best performances out of my cast mates as well.
All in all, Ben knows what he's doing and I'd recommend him to anyone excited about acting. You'll be surprised on how much you'll improve. He's the best!

I have been dancing in some form or fashion since the age of 3. I did ballet and tap recitals in preschool, took recreational gymnastics and cheerleading classes in elementary school, and did allstar dance and allstar cheerleading in middle school and high school. When I went away to college, I c
