I have a fluid teaching approach based on my REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE with an emphasis on improving technique, musicianship and a “truth is love approach” to ensure musical improvement within the first two weeks of lessons! I sincerely believe creating music should be a joyful & fulfilling experience and one that will be a positive change in someone’s life (as it has been for mine). I teach all genres of music on multiple instruments and specialize in audition preparation, real-life gig preparation and musical mastery. I want my students to reach their musical potential and aspirations, while having a good time doing something that they love.
I am a GRAMMY Nominated educator, trumpeter, guitarist, bassist, pianist, singer/songwriter, composer/arranger, drummer and recording artist. I graduated from University of Indianapolis with a Bachelor’s of Arts with a concentration in Jazz Studies and the University of Cincinnati College Conserva

I aim to instill a sense of groove, to teach the students how to play well with other musicians in a band setting, as well as advancing their own personal development on the instrument through various technical and rhythmic exercises. Most importantly how to love holding down the low end.

My favorite times are listening to them and I would love to join in but I am always self conscience and don't want to embarrass them.
When we recently retired I decided to take some classes for enjoyment and also to push myself to conquer some fears..I was going to go to a local music teacher to inquire about singing lesson, but somehow I happened on takelessons.com and was matched up with Mr. Farobag. Lucky me!! I have been taking lessons on Skype for over 6 months now! Farobag is the kindest and the most patient teacher in the world..really, really..he makes me feel like I can keep a tune and that I am capable of improving.
I actually pleasantly surprised my family by volunteering at a camp talent show over the summer. I might not have been the best but I was given a standing ovation for trying. (and probably the oldest up there!)
..and this is the best..I was taking lessons for more than 2 months when I decided to look up Mr. Farobag on the TakeLessons site..Oh My Goodness! I really lucked out - that is all I will say- as I could go on and on about his talents and cv!
Thank You Thank you Farobag for your encouragement."
Tim is an extremely patient, calm and professional piano teacher. He has been teaching my 5 and 7 year old boys for 8 months now. They are not easy students- one is a total wiggle worm and the other has a speech/language delay. He handles the situation beautifully. The best part is that the boys are learning properly from the very basics- sitting at the piano, hand positioning, rhythm, reading music, and actually playing. We're using Alfred's basic course starting from pre-reading and beginner. HIghly recommend for a low-stress music teacher."

As a beginner singer, it's important to understand how unnecessary tension affects your tone and your breath support. Here, NY teacher Nadia B. shares what to keep in mind and how to combat that tension... Singing is, in many ways, a very natural activity. We all have a voice, and it is meant to be used to communicate in speech and in music. However, when one delves more into the art of singing through voice lessons, practice, and performance, tension sometimes creeps in. It can seem …

Today's pop music certainly makes it seem like a tenor's world out there. But if you're more of a baritone, don't worry. Here, you'll learn about the baritone singing range, the best baritone pop songs to add to your repertoire, and more. You've probably noticed that every single guy on Top 40 radio is a tenor, and that there are very few baritone pop singers, and very little pop music for low voice. Sam Smith, Jason Derulo, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, David Guetta, Adam Levine, Usher, …
