I graduated from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, GA with a BA in Music Education, voice principal. During my years in public schools I taught a variety of age ranges and subjects including kindergarten general music, beginning band, high school chorus, and remedial middle school English and language arts. I have professional Yoga training and enjoy incorporating aspects of that when tutoring adult, middle school, high school, and elementary students. I also use Yoga, brain respiration and other healing techniques in my lessons as needed.
I was a member of The William Baker Festival Singers and Summer Singers since 2003 before becoming Media Relation Coordinator in 2006 and Assistant to the Music Director in 2008 and left the group in July of 2009 to pursue other musical ventures.

for greatness no matter what their strengths and weaknesses are. No matter your age or ability level I will help you set your goals and reach them. All students should want to learn. I expect my students to be prepared and have an open mind. Learning to sing is a process. I focus on building technique and a strong musical foundation and customize my lessons for every student and individual needs. I use breathing techniques and exercises that are challenging and work toward quick and accurate results. I implement a variety of exercises to improve pitch, intonation, placement, strength, and endurance. My main goal in teaching is to encourage each student to get to know their vocal strengths and weaknesses while using all their skills to their advantage producing their best sound consistently.

I have a lifelong passion for music, and specifically, trumpet. I am grateful for the opportunity I had as a young musician to study under high caliber professionals. I have studied under dozens of symphony musicians and Hollywood free-lance professionals. I have been a part of many prestigious music programs, both competitive, and scholastic. I attended Brigham Young University of Hawaii, where I was granted a scholarship to major in music performance. I have had students in the past, and look forward to helping more musicians grow! I look forward to finding students interested in entering the world of music, specifically the trumpet.
To me, any musical involvement is always a joy. I grew up with a passion for music. In the 5th grade, I switched from the violin, to the trumpet. As soon as I heard the voice of the trumpet, I instantly
fell in love. The voice of the trumpet resonates with my heart. The trumpet is such a beautiful instrument. Unlike many instruments, the trumpet holds a unique ability to be versatile. A trumpet can be soothing, like a mothers singing to her baby, or it can be as powerful as the thunderous roar of a lion. The trumpet is used in ALL genres of music, whereas others are limited to particular genres. Let's get started!
I have played in bands, duets, and as of right now solo. The joy of playing the guitar can be so rewarding , the sound of applause, people dancing, oh yeah getting payed to have a blast. I will make learning the guitar something to look forward to. Thanks, Brian
I am a singer that took on the ukulele 8 years ago. Over the past 3 years I have played throughout Santa Barbara performing local gigs & busking on State Street.
Ukulele Lessons: I like to challenge the preconception that the ukulele is a "toy" and expose people to what can be achieved on a small, 4-stringed instrument. I am constantly thinking of new ways to add life to the instrument and show how capable the ukulele truly is.
Vocal Lessons: My goal is to make all of my students reach the point where they are comfortable with their own voice. My teaching draws from my experience in formal concert/chamber choirs, musical theatre, collegiate a cappella, and solo performances.
In addition to teaching, I create videos as an outlet for performing and sharing my true enjoyment for music.
Nico was recommended to me two months ago and I am very glad I reached out. I already feel more confident knowing what to listen out for when singing. He also taught me a couple songs on ukulele so I can accompany myself. Cool teacher & fun jam sessions!

I've had the pleasure to know Diego not just as a teacher, but also as a collaborator, composer, and performer. He's one of the most professional, brilliant musical thinkers I've ever met, and is great at pushing students to understand the piano better as an instrument - musicality is always the top priority in Diego's teaching.
My name is Mikayla and I have been playing guitar and piano for 9 years. When I first got started playing music, I was desperate for someone to sit down and teach me what I needed to know. After teaching myself through online videos for a while, I finally found a flexible piano teacher to get me further than I could take myself. I encourage you to do the same. Whether it's through the services I offer, or another individual, find someone who wants to see you learn a beautiful instrument and grow into a true musician.

"Sarah loves piano lessons with Tammye because she is calm, funny and very "laid-back" in how she approaches children and teaching the piano. These qualit
ies are gradually drawing Sarah back to an instrument that she loved initially but had withdrawn from due to very strict and almost frightening former teachers. I am so happy to see her loving the piano again and looking forward to her practices with Tammye. Thank you, Tammye, for encouraging and realizing that learning an instrument is a marathon for some and not a sprint!"
"Caleb made learning the piano so simple and enjoyable! He was patient and walked me through step by step. Such an incredible instructor!"
"Both my son and myself have taken piano with Fawn and she is excellent. She also teaches voice quite well, which has helped me in my professional life and
public speaking! She's just great!"
"I was a little intimidated by the concept of online classes as this was new to me but Christina made me feel at ease. She was energetic and encouraging. L
ooking forward to my next lesson."
"I continue to love taking guitar with Raymond, which I have been doing for more than a few years, now. He is such an insightful and encouraging teacher th
at each new challenge becomes something fun to learn. His approach to music as a process has helped me tackle other life goals as well, and to grow as a person. If you want to learn and ENJOY beautiful music with a warm, generous, masterful, and talented teacher, who truly cares, you will want to take lessons with Raymond!"
"Excellent instructor! I'm just getting started and I can't wait for more lessons."
"She's a beyond wonderful instructor who has so much patience and is one of the friendliest people I've ever met! She knows her stuff and I just can't stre
ss enough of what a wonderful person she is! 1,000,000 of 10 would recommend! :D"
"I needed last minute coaching for an upcoming audition and was feeling unprepared and frazzled. Chelsea easily knew what I needed. She made recommendation
s, was wonderfully engaging, and her insight and ear highlighted some important tweaks that I would have overlooked in my haste to prepare. After just one session I felt clearer, calmer, and considerably more confident. Bonus: Chelsea is incredibly kind, fun to work with and makes you feel you already know one another. Chelsea has my highest recommendation"
"Patient, knowledgable, good location, easy parking"
