About Kelsey
Hello there! My name is Kelsey, can't wait to meet you! I am fairly new to teaching private lessons, I started this January 2017. I love teaching, and I am very passionate about the flute! I'm e
xcited to share my knowledge of this instrument with students, and to help them to achieve their best sound. I achieved my minor in flute performance at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and graduated with my Bachelor's in 2012. I have personally been playing the flute for 20 years, and am able to teach students both to read music, and to improv. I perform in a duo several times a month around St. Louis and surrounding cities, specializing in flute improv and flute solos. I am a very patient, and enthusiastic person, and my teaching style is flexible and fun, focusing on attainable goals so the students can experience success. I look forward to helping you reach your musical goals!

About Sarah
Hi, I'm a 23 year old saxophonist attending Berklee College of Music on a full scholarship. I specialize in fundamentals, like technique, building a solid sound, and music theory. I also specialize in
higher level playing such as jazz and improvising. I've been teaching lessons since I was a sophomore in high school. I have studied with the very best (Jim Odgren, Dino Govoni, Mike Lee, John Wojciechowski, Bob Mintzer, Marcus Strickland, to name a few). My teaching style is friendly and energetic; I want students to be excited about playing saxophone. It's my passion and I look forward to letting my students find their passion for music as well. I also work at a saxophone shop where I test out horns and mouthpieces and work with social media and sales.

My prices are negotiable! if you are having financial troubles I am glad to make a payment plan or lessen my costs.

Sarah is very easy to work with, always interested in helping you the student have fun with the sax, as she has. Despite her great experience and background (or because of it?) she never seemed bored or working beneath herself with a beginner. I could say more, but I better take this time to practice!

About Thaddeus
Hi! I'm Tad, I'm a 15 year piano student currently studying Music at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and I'm home for the summer looking to make some money and teach my favorite thing i
n the world before I go back. I have been classically trained by Leanne Halvorson since the age of four and am well versed in all forms of piano music as well as other instruments. I consider myself to be an enthusiastic and diligent individual and have complete confidence in my ability to teach this instrument as well as guitar. This is my greatest passion and what I want to do with my life, and all I really want is to help other people and kids develop a love for music. I have experience teaching, playing in all sorts of bands, doing solo performances and improvising on the spot as well as sheet music and tabs. I've had articles wrote about me by the Daily Illini for how much I play on campus, and my dream job is to play professionally once I graduate.

The 10 Best Guitar Soloists of All Time
As with any top 10 list, ranking the best guitar soloists is not an easy feat. Guitar solos are incredibly subjective, and what pleases one fan might make someone else plug their ears. My list is based on years of listening to and loving classic rock, indie music, and pop. If there's anyone I left out or anything you would change, I hope you'll let me know in the comments. 10. Play Like a Pro: 7 Cool Rock Guitar Licks from Legendary Players
Playing famous guitar solos and licks can be really fun. Plus, if you're hoping to impress someone, a well-known lick can go a long way. We've picked out a handful of rock guitar licks that sound great and are at an intermediate level of difficulty.
