This teacher has a great time with her students as they learn keyboards, piano, theory, singing and basic skills on percussion and woodwind instruments. She can show beginning guitarists the chords and strums, too. We perform with the teacher at different places for youth group events, recitals, even musical theater shows. No matter what your goals, our lessons together will be the starting place to achieving them. Not only is the studio a supportive, nurturing place to learn about singing/speaking, but it's also a place to have FUN learning about what you are passionate about!
In our first lesson we will learn a little about each other. I will ask what your goals are, what your experiences are, and what you are looking to get out of our lessons together. I will also give you the opportunity to ask about my experience as a singer and as a teacher so you have a better understanding where I am coming from as well.
I believe that the most important foundation of healthy singing/speaking is proper breath support. I have many exercises that will help you find the breath support you need for healthy vocal production. Whether it's Opera, Broadway, or public speaking, the same breathing techniques apply.
We will work on a whole range of singing/speaking exercises that will help you improve your ...

I'm a professional screenwriter. I've written on both cable and network dramas. And I've sold a feature. I graduated from Film School / Dramatic Writing nine years ago. I'm in the Writers Guild, and have the trifecta of representation. And I've also self-published two collections of one-act plays available on all e-reader platforms.
I'm happy to do consultations on projects you are looking to rewrite or submit to contests. Or if you are just starting out on something new and wants to talk through all the story beats and track it together before you begin a draft.
I can also recommend the best books to read on both the craft and the industry, as well as screenplays and pilots to read (and which ones to avoid).

There are multiple approaches to studying Flamenco guitar, depending on the ultimate goal. In the simplest you just learn some techniques and scales to begin or complement your playing. In the more advanced you learn all the intricacies, the details and rules including the structures, "compas", techniques and most advanced "falsetas" or musical segments. Whichever interests you, I would strive to provide you with an understanding and a real foundation. The lessons I offer include some of my own transcriptions of most of the material I teach, including compositions by Paco de Lucia and Sabicas. Flamenco playing will enhance any other forms of guitar playing you may already possess, and will inspire you to reach higher levels.
I started learning Flamenco guitar as a teenager, and this allowed me to experience what is necessary for a young mind to learn and grow in this beautiful art form. Its sounds and techniques captivated me and it is that very beauty what will surely keep you learning, regardless of your musical goa
