Jeff has been great with my 7 year old son learning Djembe and Bongos. Jeff gives clear concise instructions and practices the skills with him to work on during the week. My son is easily distracted and Jeff is very flexible and listens to what he has to say, using is as a way to teach and redirects. My son can't wait to go to class every week!

Film scoring has been my ultimate passion since I was 9 years old. I have an MFA in film scoring from Columbia College Chicago. I am currently scoring a few films and teaching lessons on the side. I love teaching! I have many scenes to share with students for them to score. I would talk with students about the scene they're scoring, share tips and focus on style, technique, and emotional content of the scene. I have lots of technology experience, so I can help students learn how to actually turn the music in their heads into a physical recording. I specialize in Logic, ProTools ,and DigitalPerformer but can work with students in Garageband as well.

About Connor

"Brad has been my daughter’s (age 13) improv teacher for a year. It has been such a great experience for her! Brad is patient, encouraging, and fun. His wit resonates so well with her and his example and prompting have not only helped her with improv, but also with how she responds and interacts with others in general. He communicates in a way that she understands and helps her to feel confident in expressing herself (no fear of repercussions or embarrassment) - easy-going and in a way that has helped her grow. Five plus plus stars!!"
