About Juliet
I have been a teacher in private practice for 20 years. I have a wide range of experience with singers of all styles and age groups with a variety of goals and skills. I sang with a professional jazz octet for a number of years while maintaining my practice, have taught various master classes, musically directed various musicals, have sung background vocals and played piano on various recordings. I studied vocal and piano performance at Murray State University and studied privately through my adult singing and teaching career.

*** Lesson Details ***
I am a big believer of direct application of core technique to repertoire/style. Generally, lessons are fun, comfortable and laughter is encouraged. I like singers to be working on a wide variety of music from the beginning. It's a great way to understand and explore your voice an
d how great technique is fundamental to successful development. I find this approach beneficial if you're a beginning student or if you sing professionally. Not to mention, singing songs is fun!!!! I encourage all students to give input on repertoire. Songs are chosen with goals in mind, including working specific parts of the range, preparing for an audition or performance, stamina, strength, and overall vocal development. In 3-6 months you will have a very good understanding of how your voice works and how to apply good technique to a variety of styles of music. My goals for piano students of all ages include a broad understanding of music theory and the ability to sit down and play music! I believe good sight reading skills are paramount for piano enjoyment and functional playing skills. We will sight read at each lesson.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Studio with piano, mic, recoding equipment, and seating for parents.

*** Travel Equipment ***
I have a full size keyboard for travel.

*** Specialties ***
*Teachers classified as a Student Favorite have taught a minimum of 25
lessons and have received the highest feedback rating from students.I'm comfortable with all styles of singing and have coached extensively in most styles, from classical to hip hop to rock. I work with singers with various goals. Some are professional singers, some study for a future career, and some study for personal enrichment. I am very good at teaching solid healthy technique/voice use, with direct application to repertoire, maintaining the singer's authenticity, style, and vocal health.

I hold a doctorate degree in Music and specialize in teaching classical music from the Renaissance period, Baroque, classical periods, as well as pop and broadway. I teach all voice types, with expertise in mezzo soprano and countertenor literature, but vast knowledge in all. I use proven vocal techniques along side vocal yoga practices to help people to find their true voice.

I have considerable experience training those with disabilities, mental illnesses, and performance anxiety. With all students we endeavor to sing healthily, preserving voices for longevity, and to meet whatever goals the students possess. I am studied in the Bel Canto, Lamberti, and Concone technique and have successfully prepared many students for auditions, contests, festivals, and self confidence for life. The techniques for singing that I use are to create a
sound, healthy, and free voice. Hope to study along side you!

If you are looking for a vocal instructor, I highly recommend Adam! Adam is one of the most patient and understanding people that I have ever met. He has a true passion for teaching and that can be seen during each lesson through a variety of vocal techniques. So far, our vocal pedagogy has included: how proper singing technique is accomplished, breathing and air support for singing, posture, diction, vowels and articulation, range extension, and tone quality. Music has always been an important part of my life and I am grateful to have Adam as my vocal coach in order to further develop my voice. I have learned many helpful techniques from him and I am looking forward to learning more.

About Anna
I grew up surrounded by a musical family and was taught to love music at an early age. I hope to pass on that love of music to any student who walks through my doors.

I have a bachelors degree in piano performance, and have been giving private piano lessons since 2011. I have experience teaching beginning and intermediate piano students of all ages, and am comfortable teaching from a variety of method books. I aim to choose material that will be fun, engaging, and learning appropriate for each individual student. Though my training is classical and I believe this provides a good building block for learning music, I like to incorporate many different styles of music, based on students' interests.

*Please note: I currently teach from my home, and we do own a cat. If you are allergic to cats, please let me know - I am happy to make sur

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Music Theory from the University of Missouri, Saint Louis. I have been tutoring and teaching for the past two years, and currently teach voice and piano at School of Rock in Ballwin. I am comfortable with a wide range of styles and genres and seek to bring out the best in each individual student by focusing on their specific talents, needs, and musical goals.

I accept students who are eager to learn, have some very basic musical skills, and take lessons seriously and professionally. I respect all of my students' time and ask that my time also be respected, and I have an upright piano and vocal/piano sheet music in my home that I make available to all students. If I feel that a student is not a good match, I reserve the right to discontinue lessons.

Olivia is amazing! We are so incredibly lucky to have found her! We have 4 children at varying skill levels and Olivia is able to coax each one to not only learn at their skill level but to love and understand music in the process. I was worried that my busy kids wouldn't want to practice but thanks to Olivia's enthusiasm for music my children will walk by the piano and practice completely on their own. We have enjoyed the lessons so much that we've added voice for our oldest and without fail Olivia has inspired her on that front as well. She is truly a talented teacher.
