I can teach you how to make money with Calligraphy and Hand Lettering.

I start out with nomenclature, then I go into the basics of composition, flourishes, tracking, and anatomy. Then I get into skeletal stroke order for Serif, Sans Serif and Script (focusing on whichever one the student wants), and I provide more in depth training in each specific style of interest.

I also can teach you hand lettering which is different from Calligraphy in that the rules are much looser and it is very stylized, and is a lot more fun.

About Moataz

I am a Freelance Graphic Designer living in Powell, Ohio. I love learning and teaching, like a lot. I teach languages, Lettering, branding, and the basics of Graphic design as well as the adobe programs that bring it to life. My promise to you is that I will teach you everything I know in the ti

I will listen to what your needs are and cater to that. My experience in digital photography goes back to 2001. I know how complex the world of photography can be but I will seek to leave my ego behind because I too had to learn from others and frequently in a classroom setting the instructor unfortunately can't help the individual.

About Trudy

I have been taking digital photos since 2001 but started when I first fell in love with Photoshop. My favorite subject matter is nature but the principles of taking a decent photo will be similar for any subject matter. I photograph large events and headshots and believe in the importance of a

Due to my current location, I am constantly exposed to a wide variety of art and art styles- especially cartoons. I myself have a degree in Art History, a minor in Studio Art (drawing) and formal teaching experience. I also have a good deal of knowledge about cartooning and life drawing due to several classes I took in college.

From character design and comic book layouts, to illustrating full on scenery and stories, I've got you covered. Learn how to create interesting and dynamic compositions with expert color choices using various traditional mediums I provide for in-home lessons such as watercolors, alcohol ink markers, colored pencils, and fine line ink pens. I can also teach you to use digital media using Photoshop, Clip Studio, or any tablet-based drawing programs (student must have their own software/hardware for in-home visits or online lessons). I'm also happy to provide lessons with gouache, acrylics, or oils (student must have their own paints and supplies for these mediums).

Styles I teach range from realistic to cartoony, from Western animation/comics to Japanese Anime/manga with a heavy focus on figure drawing, backgrounds, and perspective.

About Emily

Greetings! Do you love to draw or paint either digitally or with traditional mediums? Do you or your kids love cartoons, anime/manga, or comics? How about figure drawing, or lovely nature landscapes? Drawing animals perhaps? How about portraits? Well, if you answered 'yes!' to any of these, then I'

Emily works with my son developing his drawing skills before he leaves for college to study digital animation. He really needed to work on illustration skills and Emily has been amazing! I can’t believe how quickly his skills are improving!! But more importantly to me is that my son enjoys the lessons. He is very comfortable working with Emily and his confidence has grown in the process! I can not speak highly enough about Emily as a teacher!! She has a very calm and supportive approach which is perfect for my son. My son does not drive so it is really convenient that she is willing to travel to my house for lessons!

I found the class very helpful and enjoyable. I've made a lot of progress and it really helps that it's one on one.

My daughter first met Emily through a summer camp that she participated in. She came home excited and told me that we HAD TO take lessons from her! She has been taking drawing lessons from Emily for the past year and has grown so much in skill! Emily is a patient, kind and caring teacher. She really has a wonderful way of connecting with her students and is supportive of their art style. I would highly recommend Emily!
