Welcome to the lessons site for songwriter, professional drummer and musician Bill M. Bill grew up on Long Island New York and studied formally for several years with luminaries such as Global Drumming Ambassador Dom Famularo, and the venerable Al Miller. In addition, Bill furthered his drum set and musical performance studies at the Drummers Collective in NYC, Berklee College of Music, University of Southern California Jazz Extension and the Dick Grove School of Music. In recent years, Bill continues to seek the knowledge of the masters and has studied with legendary drummers Jeff Hamilton and John Riley.
Bill is a top notch educator with many years experience as a drum teacher and drum circle facilitator. Bill has also taught group drum classes at International Schools overseas and has given numerous clinics throughout the world.
Bill is a pro musician with in-depth experience in music performance and technology. He is an enthusiastic and effective teacher who I highly recommend.

Bill is top notch. I worked with Bill on Long Island in a club date band several years back. During that time he taught my nephew the drums. Bill's patience and knowledge paved the way for my nephew to get accepted into a top music school. A great player and a great teacher!
I studied Afro-Cuban Percussion, Percussion and Drums at the University of Northern Colorado, the nation's 3rd largest Jazz school. I bring 17+ years of education and teaching experience to the table.
I own a local music/art/production institution which hosts lessons for many instruments and artistic pursuits. Personally, I've been teaching for over 17 years, and I teach beginner to advanced students in instruments like guitar, bass, piano/keys, voice, and drums, and depending on your needs, our studio offers a variety of professional teachers that teach all woodwind, brass, and stringed instruments.
I also am an online teacher for a the world's biggest web platform for guitar instruction, and teach lessons alongside those in Berklee alumni, Musician's Institute, as well with many very famous artists that are now in the music business.
Though I've had the fortune to work with some of the best in studios, as a songwriter, and player, and in education, both professional and informal, I love to teach entry level players up through
the intermediate levels the most. I enjoy watching people discover things for the first time, and in my teaching I really do my best to craft my lessons to the needs of the students. My primary aim in teaching is that I would cultivate in my students a love for music and learning. With these two things in place, a student can go on to be and learn anything.
Join me, we'll have a great time, and we'll get you to your goals while we're enjoying the journey of music together!!
My son was very happy with the lesson and the tips that Dave provided. Looking forward to future lessons.

Dave is the absolute “best” teacher I have ever had! I’m an older (69) student and his techniques amaze me. I’m learning things I have never been exposed to and so wish I had had a teacher like Dave when I was 10...maybe I would be able to play! Thanks Dave!
I have over 30 years as a professional musician and studied under the best in my community. I perform with top level, award winning musicians and have toured US and Europe. As an instructor, I've churned out over 400 students over my 12 year teaching career. Many of my students tour with their own bands and or perform in their high school marching and jazz band. I work from industry standard material and include my own lesson strategy that's proved trident true over the course of my teaching career. I've won many awards and have been furthering my music education when I'm not touring or recording. I don't have any degrees but am considered one of the best drummers in Tucson. I've performed on stage and recordings with many well known drummers. A few to name, are Tommy Larkin's, Ed Shemanski and Winston Watson. I proficient teaching any style and have applied all styles into my repertoire while performing and recording. I teach drummers how to become a musician, not just a drummer. ...
I'm a skilled professional musician/drum and vocal instructor. I've performed/recorded/toured for over 30 years. I've studied from the best in Arizona. I teach all ages and all are welcome. Being a part of a students educational growth is very rewarding. I have current students who tour in bands in the United States and Canada. I also work with students who need help with material for middle and high school marching/jazz bands. My system as a drum/vocal instructor has been proven through the success of my students.
Aidan did a wonderful job helping my son learn percussion- several instruments. He is patient and empathetic, and great with even young kids. I appreciate that he tries to let the kids do things that are fun for them while still teaching the basics.

Do you want to be a Rock Star? Our lessons will be designed to help you achieve your long term goal. We will play tunes you love and enjoy that will give you the confidence to be a great performer and musician.
I am a professional drummer, musician, and educator. I graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a Music Bachelor in Performance and Live and Performing Arts Management. I have experience not only being on the stage but also being behind the stage.
My performing experiences vary. I have been part of large and small ensembles ranging from piano duos, 5-piece bands to classical size orchestras. I grew up in a more classical music environment as a pianist but at the age of 14, I immerse myself into the rock scene. I formed my first rock band and started taking drum lessons. I have been playing the drums for 8 years now. My most favorite setting is still playing in a rock band, preferably a progressive rock group.
I was born and raised in Cyprus, a greek-speaking country in the Mediterranean. I have a big passion and lov
e for Greek Rock music that I enjoy to share it with students who are passionate about exploring new cultures and diversity.
Percussion was my first love! I've been a percussionist for over 20 years and can instruct in most styles and genres. My specialty is heavily drum-set oriented but I can instruct beginners through intermediate players on a full range of percussion instruments.
Hi! I’m so glad you stumbled upon my TakeLessons profile because it means that you’re a step closer to becoming a ‘real’ musician. But before you call up images of cold concert halls and stuffy, tuxedoed audiences or international superstars selling out arenas, let me briefly explain what it means to be a ‘real’ musician. A real musician can be anybody! YOU can be a real musician; you just might not know it, yet. A real musician is ANYONE who plays or performs on an instrument with a mindset of exploration, discovery, and passion. Sure, technique and physical mastery of the craft can help but the only thing that can make you a real musician is the desire to always be exploring and learning; not to mention having a lot of fun!
I’m a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and performer of over 20 years and the one thing I’ve learned thro
ughout my life and career is that the only thing that really matters is passion and a desire to learn and create. I can help you identify your goals, make new ones, and most importantly CONNECT with your instrument in a meaningful way. If you’re just starting and feeling a bit timid, that’s okay too! As an instructor, I strongly prefer to let the needs of the student guide the course and direction of our lessons.
Send me a message today and let’s look beyond the notes to find the true, unparalleled joy of playing and creating music.
"I met Andy Robinson when we were students at SDSU. I was a drummer between bands, and Andy was the drummer in the great local prog-rock band, Horsefeather
s. We became instant friends, and when I attended my first Horsefeathers concert, I became a fan of the band and of Andy's drumming. After graduation, I closely followed Andy's music career as it went through many changes, each new endeavor more impressive than the last, and none more impressive than his solo work, which allows for the most focused appreciation of his diverse talents. Although I have great respect for drummers who are technically precise timekeepers, my favorite drummers are not metronomes but those who play with passion and personality, which is one reason why Andy Robinson remains one of my all-time favorite drummers."
"Michael has been my son's drum teacher for the past year. Michael, in a short period of time, has taught my son a lot! Michael's lessons are both engagin
g and fun!"
"Brent has been a great and patient teacher for our son. Our son started learning drums with Brent when he was 5, and we have been working with Brent for a
year. Today our son has started reading music and also can hold a pretty complex beat (for a 6 year old) for at least some time! Thanks Brent!"
"Keith has lots of patience and answers all my questions. He's teaching me to read music and play drums and I'm having a great time!"
"Great teacher, great person."
"Alexa possesses all the tools to teach drums effectively. She is technically competent and is professionally trained at Berkeley School of Music, one of t
he best music schools in the world. She has years of professional experience teaching and playing across a wide range of drum styles. In terms of her teaching style, she is very patient and uses a methodology that is clear and EFFECTIVE. If you are a beginner or advanced drummer, I HIGHLY recommend Alexa. You will not be disappointed. She will teach you the fundamentals and advanced rhythms; you will be playing popular beats in no time; you will have FUN practicing and playing because Alexa's approach is positive and tailored to what you want to learn. She is a great teacher, a good communicator, makes learning drumming FUN and most importantly, gets RESULTS."
