To whom much is given, much is expected this quote impeccably describes LadySonya, an extraordinary talent in the Music Industry with an aspiration to use her skills to chase her dreams while inspiring others as well. LadySonya currently instructs piano lessons to aspiring music producers/artists as well as major music producers & artists in the industry, LadySonya Music Studio, in Atlanta, Ga. Just after starting the company in March 2008, LadySonya has consulted with numerous celebrity producers/artist such as Fat Boi, Kyron Leslie, Justice League, and others who have worked on tracks from artists such as Usher, Travis Porter, Jody Breeze, Young Money, and more with the assistance of her networking skills and knowledge base structure of Music Theory. Nevertheless, it is her remarkable story of faith, dedication, and sacrifice that has g
enuinely defined the young professional, what lures many to her, and why she remotely continues to build her influential empire as a true business lady.
In 2007, LadySonya, a Georgia Peach native from Columbus, Georgia, and transfer student from Troy University to Georgia State University, began her life shift of miserably working 2-3 part-time jobs to prosper through college. In less than one year of living in Atlanta, LadySonya quit her part-time job as stock for Ross Department Store and decided to follow her dreams of being in the music industry. With no money saved, nothing but a Radio-Shack 76-key keyboard, and one year of college experience, she decided to start her own business of teaching piano lessons. She found a contracted job to teach at Tarang School of Music & Arts, Suwanee, Georgia, and began to make her infamous mark. LadySonya also found various online sites to assist with marketing her newly established company. Many supporters on social media such as face book & twitter began to take notice of LadySonya's swift entrepreneurial progression and in May of 2009 LadySonya held her 1st annual Spring Recital for LadySonya Music Studio Company. The event inspired 75+ guests. Once the company began to bloom more she began to hold recitals twice a year, one in May and the other in December, filling the venue with up to 150+ guest per show. In 2011, LadySonya decided to take her name to the next level by writing her life story testimony of how she went through 7 part-times jobs in one year span along with almost giving up everything to move back to Columbus. During the summer months of 2011 LadySonya organized her very own Network (iNetworkDoYou) to help aspiring entrepreneur/music industry by encouraging them to gain valuable information to help them along the way.
Often mistaken for a fashion model, LadySonya is a celebrity piano instructor, with a lively girl next door attitude. However anyone views her, this young lady is establishing her brand as a music mogul, exercising her inner power to become highly successful.
It is dedication, drive, and determination that lead the role-model LadySonya to reach out to her numerous supporters and fans by creating an Annual Vision Board Extravaganza (2012) to empower others to reach follow their dreams, annually host two music recitals for the students to grow out of being shy musicians, create Lady University Movement to mentor young & older ladies desiring to be leaders, and assemble frequently as a motivational speaker and panelist as a entrepreneur inspirational expert.
Shut Up and Drive is the mental note that pushed LadySonya to the next level to be more than a piano teacher, but a business lady with ongoing dreams of being the next Oprah, with a diva attitude as Beyonce, and musician skills of Alicia Keys. She works day in and day out to build her empire of being a role model- I am LadySonya.
With strong family & spiritual backbone, LadySonya believes her ultimate purpose in life is to indeed inspire others to stay focused. Her alter-ego LadySonya is known to give you that extra boost of confidence and internal drive to set goals and achieve them. However you view LadySonya, as a musician, artist, entrepreneur, model or even social networker, know that she is on top of her business/brand and she's working hard to touch lives like never before with making her dreams come to reality.

*** Lesson Details *** What students can expect from the lesson is "learning".
I am a very relaxed, fun, and motivated teacher. I teach everything from classical to gospel to country to pop music. One thing you will find out from my lessons are you are "learning" rather than "memorizing". Lessons are structured to the students needs. I put my all into the lesson to the last minute or maybe run a minute over but at the end I know I've done my job!
I like to make it fun, so I encourage students to bring in music they would like to learn even if I have to simplify it a bit!
I also try to teach different tricks to learn the theory.
LadySonya is amazing!! I havent played the piano in probably over 10 years, and only played the piano by memorizing music, not truly learning. However, after just my first lesson with LadySonya, I was learning music theory and actually practiced a few songs playing by ear! I've learned more in this one session than I've learned after years of taking lessons. I cant wait to see how far I can go with this!

Premix Setup and Post Production 8. PR and Promotions Business Background: I worked for Eddie Van Halen for five years in the 1990's in the Beverly Hills area of Los Angeles and was instrumental in providing help with development of the Peavey Wolfgang and Wolfgang Special Guitar by providing feedback on the prototypes Eddie was designing at the time. I learned a lot from Eddie and his brother Alex about music and the music industry. (All you have to do is pay attention! ) I have played in bands from Hollywood to Toronto and back both as a singer songwriter and guitarist. I bring the Musicians Institute way to the table and get things up and ru
nning quickly. I help students get it under their fingers fast and get it right the first time.
I believe in sharing the happiness of making music with anyone who loves music and the guitar in particular. I do my very best to get you playing the songs you love in Pop, Rock, Jazz and Folk Music of your choice. Today's modern new guitars are easy to play and you will enjoy learning Guitar right away. That is how it should be. When you study there is a basic understanding of Guitar to be learned that allows an ease of use for anyone for years to come. This will help you reach your goal and improve each week. My students learn to practice in a way that feels comfortable and makes sense. This takes all the stress out of learning and gives everyone something to smile about and look forward to each week.
The good feeling of playing along with friends and taking a solo is within every students grasp. I will show you the way there. And with a solid and straightforward approach to the theory as it applies directly to the guitar you will feel confident and unafraid of any music endeavor. We'll cover harmony and fingerboard theory and give you a road map of the guitar neck that makes it a pleasure to play. You learn the basics and much more than you thought possible retaining 90 percent of what you learn!
Having been a student myself I was deeply involved in music since age 12 and played in bands and duos for over 15 years . I can help you to be a well rounded player and performer with a smile, a laugh and a joy for music whether your in a band or a budding solo artist.
*** Lesson Details *** Most students want to play the Guitar to play their favorite songs and I'm the same way. Music is something we carry with us in our hearts and minds. Students will learn what they wish to learn and work at a pace that is comfortable to them. Whether you are a student, “weekend warrior” or a parent whose child has expressed an interest in Guitar anyone can learn all there is to know about Harmony and Theory for the Guitar and how to play their favorite songs.
We cover theory in an easy and straightforward no nonsense way in the first half of each lesson and then apply it to the song you wish to learn. This creates an atmosphere where you understand and feel at home with the Guitar. You get an understanding right away and because it is immediately fun it allows you to feel comfortable at any level. Music is fun, and songs are the creative expression of what we feel. Combining theory and the freedom to play and sing songs allows us to express ourselves through music. After 6 months students will have a solid foundation in theory, and a road map of the guitar fretboard enabling them to advance to an intermediate level if they are ready to do so. Students will know enough that music as it relates to the Guitar, which is the world’s most popular instrument in contemporary music, is not a mystery but is a welcome friend. And they will be able to play songs by popular artists and advance at a pace that is satisfying and enjoyable. ----------------------------

James Walsh has helped me in more ways than can I could even imagine in the past 6 months I have trained with him. His challenges and ideas lit a creative spark in my mind, helping me express myself through playing the role of a character nicely (absolutely loving the accent practice i am being taught in). He has also provided a very therapeutic healing for my mental health, helping me to be more spontaneous and witty, instead of the wooden and mechanical person I once was.
James has a ridiculous amount of connections, resources and ideas at his hands, and gladly offers him to me to help me in my Method Acting. For those looking for a career in Acting, Comedy, or Film, James is definitely your man for opening several doors.
Throughout the months, he has been very supportive and encouraging, oftentimes doing welfare checkups on me throughout the week and showing me new ideas and techniques in film, acting and spontaneity. He demonstrates patience with learning curves, and gives good assignments to work on through the week for the next time you meet up. He also is understanding if you cannot make an appointment.
In terms of the actual classes, they are phenomenal. Many classes, when deliberately practicing, feel more like an actual In-the-moment conversation rather than a mechanical " Do this than that" layout. He gives a lot of good and fair feedback for improvement at the end of the class, and following the advice never failed to be right. Be prepared for time to fly, though, as 45 minutes will feel like 10, especially if you are REALLY in character and going back and forth with him on random topics, which almost make you feel like you have a hidden persona lol.
All in all, James is very experienced and skilled in teaching students of all walks of life, from aspiring actors/actresses to would be filmmakers to people simply looking to learn life skills that are invaluable to life, career, relationships and even mental health! There is something for all in this coach's teachings, provided you are wiling to put in the work. Phenomenal teacher and an all around great person!

James is a very caring teacher who took the time to get to know my strengths and weaknesses. He has many years of experience in this field and it shows in his lessons.
Thank you James for the training, I grew as a improv student from the time I worked with you. I utilized this class as a test for my profession (business) and am grateful that I selected you as a mentor/teacher. I am happy with the results and may be knocking on your door again down the road. Stay tuned.

As part of a more expansive voice lesson, we will cover best practices for recording vocals in the studio. I have a microphone in my home studio and I can travel to a professional recording studio upon request.
*I teach with a heavy emphasis on vocal health. I encourage and teach complete body and mind awareness. I provide a "lifestyle" approach to singing and performing.
*My specialties include: helping students find a unique voice in their original music, prepping for auditions (most genres besides traditional broadway and opera), studio recording and ear training.
*Original Music: I have a piano, ukulele and guitar available for student use at my in-home studio. We can also work on editing your originals.
*Audition Prep: Especially for the working performer, we work on both voice and full body exercises to relieve anxiety and allow you to be in the moment on your big day. We aim to prevent any unnatural tension that may obstruct vocal production, flexibility and ...
Hi! My name is Jessica and I can't wait to help you find YOUR voice because YOUR voice is unlike anyone else's . No two people sound exactly the same; isn't that a beautiful thing? I truly believe it is, so much so that I've dedicated over two decades of my life to it. After double majoring at the University of Delaware (music, communication) I continued my private voice study with coaches based in LA and NYC and soon began sharing my knowledge of the voice with my own students, all the while landing my own gigs on-stage and on-screen.
Watching my students exceed their own expectations has been just as much, if not even more rewarding than performing for myself.
I am fortunate enough to say that teaching, performing, recording, writing, producing and arranging music has taken me all over the world. Through staying true to my voice
, I continue to create a life I love and my students are an incredibly important piece of that life!
Some things you should know about me:
- From 2003-Present Day I've trained with several classical and broadway style voice coaches as well as NYC's most in-demand pop-style vocal coach. I've spent many years performing in choirs and professional a cappella groups. - In 2007 I began teaching private lessons in my hometown and continued to do so sporadically throughout college and afterwards in NYC - I recorded with a major record label (now Capitol Records) and performed with a classical crossover group on PBS Television - I performed on NBC's The Sing-Off with my group The Deltones for which I was once a director, arranger and vocal coach. - I sang with Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Nicks and Carrie Underwood, filling in for Emmylou Harris - I've shared a stage and gone on tour with GUSTER, The Band Perry, Marc Broussard, LAUV, Shoffy, Pentatonix and more. - My work as a songwriter, recording artist, vocalist and vocal recording engineer & producer has garnered roughly 15+ Million Streams over the past few years. - My original music and cover songs have been heard on CBS, NBC, PBS and Disney's Freeform Television.
Question: Cool, so what does this mean about your style of teaching?
Answer: Glad you asked.
1. I am most interested in your personal, authentic style and making sure you are accessing YOUR voice in the most healthy way possible. Singing is a full body and mind activity and I like to take a comprehensive approach, teaching concepts that you can take with you into other areas of life. Many students want to "have better intonation", "sing more on key" or "sing more freely" and YES YES YES LET's definitely do that! Just not solely with ear training tricks and repetitive scales.
2. I'm best suited for students who prefer to sing modern and contemporary music or craft their own songs. I am also a great resource for recording studio-prep work.
3. As a working recording artist, I bring real-life experience into my coaching with a strong understanding of the modern music world.
While I've performed musical theater and classical music, there are more specialized coaches better equipped for those genres.
My goal in taking lessons was to get back to singing after a long hiatus of lessons and performing... to reclaim my love of singing and break through my insecurity. Jessica's warmth, humor and expertise helped me do just that. I learned new techniques and had a full on very emotional breath through right in her living room!
She made me feel safe, confident, and helped me learn about my unique voice as well as shared her expertise in proper breathing and gaining vocal control and increasing range.
In sum, Jessica is an incredible vocal coach and I'd definitely recommend her.

Jessica is an amazing teacher! She not only understands all the technicalities behind singing but she works to your strengths and helps you cultivate both your inner and outer voice! I felt very comfortable with her and even got emotional a few times as it was such a powerful experience to be able to be vulnerable and engage in something I love so much. Jessica is the perfect mix between professional and experiential where you'll learn skills but you will also have fun doing it. I highly recommend Jessica for your musical needs. I look forward to my future sessions!! It also helps she is incredibly talented! An all around win and positive experience :)!

My son enjoys his music lessons with Jonathan, who is infinitely patient teaching what can be a challenging instrument. My son responds well to Jonathan's instruction, and he appreciates having access to a professional performer as a teacher. Jonathan encourages my son to learn a variety of music, including both challenging classical pieces and more recognizable popular and jazz pieces, which helps to sustain his interest in the lessons.

I've worked with dozens of students of all ages over the last seven years and seen each of them achieve major breakthroughs and discover/rekindle a passion for music.

Jonah is an awesome instructor! He's very thorough and knowledgable. I'm only on my 2nd lesson, but I can already tell I'm going to learn a lot from him.

Jonah is an excellent guitar instructor. He is patient and really helps a beginner understand how to use proper technique and avoid forming bad habits. As a beginner, I found that his approach is practical and makes it easy to learn. I highly recommend Jonah.
After 20 years writing, recording and mixing mine and other people's music, I know these skills inside and out and can share valuable secrets you won't learn elsewhere. I can help you to find a style within the technique and create your own sound while staying within the actual needs of your recording process.
British born and Educated at London's prestigious Trinity College of Music and The Royal Academy of Music, my professional musical career has spanned over two decades to date. I have performed with world renowned acts such as Sia, Dave Stewart and Horace Andy, and have been a featured recording artist on many of the worlds most famous film scores while myself having authored or co-authored over 30 movie scores. A Suzuki violin student since the age of 3, I added piano, guitar, singing and composition during my teenage years. The Suzuki method encourages advanced aural development from very early on and this has turned out to be my strongest suit. With my ear, I have impressed some of the most notable orchestrators, composers, directors and producers in London, Hollywood and the world over. In fact, it was these on the spot aural magic tr
icks that allowed me to impress the Hollywood composer that first invited me to Los Angeles to work on my first blockbuster. That opportunity led to many years of success in the industry and some notoriety. I have always had a passion for teaching, sharing my knowledge with others and watching other people take immense pleasure in their own achievements. I have been told time and time again that I have a very special gift for teaching and I would very much like to share it with you, whether you want to learn an instrument, musicianship, ear training, composition, hone your vocal or mic skills or learn how to arrange an orchestral piece in just a few hours! I look forward to talking to you about your specific needs and goals and having the opportunity to help you realize them in a fun friendly and authentic atmosphere. Andrew
I have over 10 years of experience in the audio engineering industry and have worked with just about every genre out there! I can help newcomers become acquainted with the basics of any DAW as well as assist experienced engineers with new techniques for their mixes.
Hi! My name is Matt M. and I am the owner and founder of Black & White Music Services, Inc., a professional music education and production company. I began teaching at a fairly early age and moved to teaching privately over 9 years ago. I have a deep passion for music and the guitar and do my best to instill that same passion in new and experienced players alike. Throughout my playing career I have participated in numerous ensembles including jazz bands, classical groups and quartets, as well as solo performance groups. I am extremely thorough when it comes to my teaching style. I make sure the student has a clear understanding of not only the how but also the why while keeping my curriculum fun and interesting. Every student is different and I do my best to gain an understanding of the individual and build a lesson plan best suited for
that individual. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to contact me!
Matt continues to challenge me. His teaching methods are great - he doesn't just teach techniques, he immediately puts techniques to work by applying them to a song I would like to learn. He is also very good about explaining the reasoning behind certain techniques/habits.
June 21, 2019
Excellent. Didn’t need so much info about electric guitars since we’re just starting and have an acoustic guitar. Otherwise, excellent.
May 9, 2019
Matt was very thorough in determining my current skill level (which is basically beginner with some previous limited exposure to music and some self-taught cowboy chords). He asked me what I wanted to focus on and worked with me on beginning to change some bad habits/techniques that I had developed. Matt didn't just instruct, he EXPLAINED. I felt that the lesson was much more of a mutual discussion than a lecture/demonstration, which is a great thing. I felt very comfortable and believe that Matt's teaching techniques will help me achieve my goals.
"Steve is knowledgeable in recording software and was able to get me up and running."
"Awesome! Exactly what I was looking for! Steve G. really knows his stuff, and his studio and home are really cool! 30 minutes per lesson is not long enou

"My lessons involve music recording, including editing and arranging.
David quickly discovered what I do know what I desired and need to learn. He has h

"Thank you so much Lorin for the remote classes!! You were amazing and I learned more from you than I did from my in-person teacher here in town. Thanks!!"

"Milton has been a really good fit for our son, because he is easy-going, knowledgeable and always comes ready to teach something new. His relaxed style su
its our household without seeming unprofessional, and he is extremely encouraging. These lessons all started during a rough medical situation for our son, and Milton just rolled with it, making sure our son created music and didn't focus only on his health. It also gave our son something positive and creative to work on, making him feel less like an invalid and more like a musician. Overall, we have been so happy with Milton and would highly recommend him to anyone."
"Albino - I just wanted to say thanks again so much for everything you did for me, I'm having so much fun recording. I just finished up my first track and
was able to include guitars, bass, piano, drum and vocals, I can't believe how quickly you taught me all of this stuff. This is a huge improvement from where I was a few months ago. Thank you again!!!"
