When I first begin teaching a student, I tell them that everyone has the ability to sing well no matter his or her experience. I also tell them that there are four things that a good singer must have: breathe control (air is your fuel, and must be used efficiently and effectively to give you the best sound), posture (in order to have access to your air and prevent vocal damage you must practice good posture habits), diction (how you pronounce words when singing can impede or improve vocal tone, as well as help or hinder the audience in understanding the lyrics) and finally and most importantly, passion. Passion is how emotionally connected you are to music and is what really allows the singer to connect with his or her audience.

Singing is so fun and students love it especially when they see how much they improve with their voice after just having a few lessons. I have been teaching voice for over 10 years and will work with the student to build them a strong, healthy voice technique!
During singing lessons we usually have 5-10 minutes of warming up and singing vocal exercises. We will then work on the student's song choices and cover in depth with training in breathing, range, pitch, stylistic techniques, and presentation.
About Christina
Christina is a multi-talented musician, producer, singer-songwriter and has been actively involved with music throughout her life. She began learning classical piano at the age of three and naturally fell in love with singing at a young age. Gifted with perfect pitch, she has excellent ability to pl
