I focus on the fundamentals (technique, sightreading, playing by ear) to prepare all my students to tackle any pieces they want, whether it's classical, pop, jazz, ragtime.

Students will work on piano technique, based on their level of study. They will learn through the use of exercises (playing scales, arpeggios, and studies/etudes), as well as through the application to real-life repertoire, in the genre of their choice (classical, pop, rock, jazz, etc.)

My main goal is to unlock your creativity! As an active musician, producer, and teacher I love to help others learn how to read, write, and play the music they love and envision. My teaching philosophy is that every aspect of music is connected and therefore to really get it, you have to learn it all! I take a wide ground up approach inching away at rhythm, melody, theory, technique, and feel altogether, advancing all musical skills equally over time. Can't wait to meet you!
