I feel fortunate to have Bill as my teacher. Bill is an outstanding player and teacher. I have been able to progress far faster with lessons with Bill than I could on my own.

When Bill was my band director over a decade ago, he was the best music teacher I'd had at that point. After reconnecting with him and having him work with me on my techniques more recently as an adult player, that opinion still stands very strongly. He has a wonderful way of phrasing things that help you just "get it," and has expert advice from everything from fundamentals and helping you achieve your best sound, to more advanced techniques such as double and triple tonguing.

My main goal is to help aid my students explore their own musical interests in a way that allows them to excel in their overall proficiency and deepen their love of music/piano.

Many of my students ask for a song to play and I pick it out and make an arrangement that will focus on a particular technical issue. In this way I believe Coldplay can be as instructive as Beethoven, depending on the student and his/her interests.

About James

BA, University of Pittsburgh, Music MA DePaul University, Jazz Performance I have over 10 years of teaching experience. I loved every one of them. I do consider myself a passionate educator and a patient instructor. I had been blessed to have received masterful instruction from brilliant, warm

About Anthony

Ever since I was 8 years old, I have loved playing the bagpipes. The instrument was not easy at first - and admittedly I wanted to quit taking lessons early on - but by persevering through the initial learning curve I took off with it and my life has honestly never been the same since. Whether you started on an Acoustic and have crossed over to the Electric or this is your first guitar, I am ready to show you the fun of this amazing instrument! Through use of amplification, Guitars no longer relied on thick strings and hollow bodies to produce volume. This made the guitar much easier to play and therefor allowed for some huge innovations in playing technique. Bends, whammy bars, feedback, increased sustain... these are all were made possible by plugging in the instrument, so let's turn it up and rock out!!

About Thomas

I LOVE to teach and I am looking for a few more motivated students online and at my home studio on Merritt Island, Florida. Lessons are fun and motivating! Beginning students learn songs that they love while also learning basic theory and instrument technique. Advanced students will have their mind

"My teenage son enjoys singing and participates in musicals. He also has interest in competitions, and he is even considering the pursuit of music study at the collegiate level. As such I wanted to find a top notch teacher for him to enhance his skills, and I was pleased to come across Taylor.

Taylor has an educational background in music that is beyond reproach, and he is an accomplished singing professional who also plays the piano. His understanding of the human voice is astounding. Add to that his enthusiasm for teaching and kind demeanor, and the result is an excellent teacher. My son is making great strides thanks to Taylor, and he really looks forward to lessons. We couldn't be happier. If you're serious about singing we would highly recommend you study with Taylor."

"Andrew has been teaching my son music lessons since July 2013, and we have been very pleased. He is always on time, communicates well, and is able to be flexible when our schedule is not 100% predictable.

My son was 7 when he began the guitar and after just over a year, we decided that it would be best to switch to the piano. Practicing the guitar was always a struggle. Andrew took this change from guitar to piano in stride and has enough piano skills to help my son learn all of the things that are important in music: reading, learning rhythm, etc. I have seen him teach younger students and I appreciate that he can adapt his teaching approach to match the age, ability and interest of the learner.

My son seems intrinsically motivated to learn the piano and practice. But even as he plodded away strumming his electric guitar unenthusiastically, Andrew always found a way to engage him. One of the more memorable techniques Andrew uses is to write out the music for the songs my son wants to learn. At that moment, it was a Pokémon song. I thought it was rather genius. Even though my son barely practiced, he wanted to learn that song.

By means of the piano, Andrew is teaching my son music, not just how to play songs on the piano. I am amazed at the progress he has made from not being able to reproduce rhythms to now being able to do so.

It is clear that Andrew enjoys teaching. He is personable and polite. I have referred him to family and friends and would not hesitate to hire him for drums, guitar and beginning piano."

"We are very happy that our son takes guitar lessons with John Krauss. John is a very skilled and versatile guitar teacher. He was adept at discovering my son's specific interests and learning style(s) and has tailored his lessons accordingly. My son enjoys, and looks forward to his lessons.
John brings a lot of experience as a musician to his teaching. For much of his life he has performed on stage as a Rock and Jazz guitarist. In addition to teaching music, John Krauss is an award winning sound engineer. He has recorded musical ensembles and soloists, as well as, audio books by Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Senator Fred Thompson, and other well known authors, speakers, and public figures."

Due to the fact that I travel quite a bit with my business I used the holiday season to get a refresher course and Bennie was the right teacher for this. Mastering the Art of Zen Guitar

Billy Joel once said “I think music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everybody loves music.” Today, we encourage you to think about why you play the guitar.  Dreams of shredding on stage with Steve Vai aside, most musicians would cite the emotional connection to music as a big motivator. Guitar practice, after all, is like a form of meditation; think about it: there's a reason …
