A passion for bridge with extensive knowledge of the game.
I've been playing and teaching the game of bridge for the past 26 years. I love this game, and I love introducing it to others so they can share in the joy of bridge. I've taught people from age 8 to age 88 and everywhere in between. My goal is to make the lessons fun because this is a game, and

I have been teaching small group classes of children between the ages of 5 and 13 since 2010. My favorite memory from my earliest class was when my 10 year old student went home and adjusted her mother's sewing machine to sew properly! I have taught classes from very basic sewing machine skills to machine quilting.
I learned to crochet in grade school, taught myself to knit and learned to sew from my mother at a very early age. Teaching grade school children/students is my passion. I believe learning to knit and sew can help students learn a level of patience and persistence that will help them in their schoo

As a sewing instructor, I aim to give beginner and intermediate students the time, attention, and encouragement needed to complete their projects so that they have the best experience possible. My goal is to teach you at your individual pace and level so you are comfortable with your sewing materials and equipment. You will be introduced to the sewing supplies needed at your instructional level such as commercial patterns, sewing kits, sewing machines, and more.
Online students receive a introductory call to discuss project goals and materials needed prior to class.
Look forward to creating with you all!
I learned to sew in Vacation Bible School at my church when I was in 7th grade. I made my first pair of overalls and was on top of the world. That began my love of sewing and all things crafty. Today I love working as a special education teacher. But my first love is teaching beginner and intermed

I will teach using visual aides such as videos and diagrams. If we meet up I will provide yarn and needle for you to practice with if you do not have your own. The first completed project will be donated. If you have trouble following we will find the right method that suits your learning style.
I have completed many different wearable projects using different techniques, such as hats, scarves, vests, blankets. I am now designing crochet jewelry, and accessories to match. I do not claim to be a professional trainer but I am willing to help others learn. I will share some of my previous w

I have been playing chess for 35 years. I play generally three times a week and win regularly. I have taught the game to over 100 people in my life. I mentor a number of young people who strongly believe that my chess instruction and the applicable thought logic lessons I inculcate have escalated their job options. I prefer students at the introductory levels to eliminate bad habits.

I keep it simple. Instead of hammering you with words you do not understand. I show you the way I learned how to crochet. I start off small and basically learn my way as I continue to crochet. I am still learning but I had to start somewhere.
I am a military veteran that love arts and crafts. I enjoy learning how to do different things like crocheting, making jewelry, drawing, learning foreign languages. I love to try anything when it comes to something I never considered learning how to do. Crocheting took over me and I stay on YouTube

Before you can sew your own clothes, create crafts, and take on sewing projects, you have to learn the basic sewing stitches. From hand-sewing stitches to seam finishes, sewing instructor Cathy G. is here to help you master the basics... Modern sewing machines have all but eliminated the need for hand sewing. Gone are the days of constructing a garment by hand with a needle and thread. That being said, there are still many places where hand-sewing stitches are necessary for a high-qu …
