Speech is about creating clarity in your use of language. It isn't necessarily about getting "rid" of an accent (unless you really want to for tv broadcasting or a role).

Public speaking is about communicating clearly, storytelling, honesty and persuasion.

I can help with both. :-)

Christine has been a professional in the theatre since 1992. She received her training from Boston Conservatory and New York University and has been a company member in Tony-award winning regional theatres. Christine specializes in vocal production, has a three-octave range and is adept at va

I have been a classroom teacher for 11 years. I got my degree in elementary education. I have taught 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade. I'm best with younger grades. I can help with homework or plan a lesson over any concept you are having trouble with. I like to make learning fun. I have taught math, science, language arts, and social studies.

About Kevin

I truly enjoy teaching. I've taught in the public school classroom for 11 years. Teaching music is so so much FUN! And it should be fun for the students to learn. When I'm teaching I tell all my students that if they don't enjoy and smile about something, then we need to change something.

I was out of town when my 15-year old son had his lesson with Kevin, so I sent a text to my son to find out how it went. "He is the best guitar teacher ever!!" my son replied. I think that says it all.

First lesson was great! On the drive home Ava said, " I'm so excited I feel like I could run a marathon!"
Haha Thank you Kevin!

"In our limited time together, Colin effectively helped me to prepare and be ready for the AP Calculus exam. He was able to cover any topic that I had questions on, and in great detail; he always explained each step of every problem thoroughly, not leaving anything out of the picture.

Another thing worth mentioning is Colin's passionate approach to teaching. He would always go about each lesson with unmistakable enthusiasm, showing that even calculus could be fun, if you were willing to see it as so. He was also always willing to go all the way with any problem, even if it went over the time limit; he wanted to make sure that I had no questions or concerns about any topic, no matter how complex it might have been. So, all in all, if you are looking for a suitable calculus tutor, Colin is certainly a very worthy option!"

"Jenni has an incredible depth of knowledge of both Latin and Greek, reflecting not only her years of experience with both languages, but also a very concerted effort to think about the best way to teach these languages.

This became very apparent when I approached her to help me in what I felt would be a near impossible task: to learn a semester's worth of Ancient Greek in one month, starting from scratch.

Her clarity of explanation, her command of the material, and her professionalism as a tutor and teacher all made that possible, to the point where when I actually showed up to class, I actually found myself ahead of where everybody else was. I had mastered the material so well thanks to her efforts, that on the first test, I achieved a 104% (even got the extra credit mark), much to the impressed amazement of my new professor.

So when I give her this solid review of her skills, it is not to her as a tutor, or even a teacher. It is to her as a professional. Which is what she is in every sense of the word, as an educator, an admirer, and a bonafide inhabitant of the world of classical languages."

"Matt has been awesome working with my sixteen year-old daughter and her algebra. She was hesitant about Skype and tutoring online but it has been so great working with Matt. He is very professional and organized and took the time to review her tests and homework prior to the scheduled session. He knew exactly what she needed to work on and after just a few sessions, she is feeling confident and has a better idea what and how to study! We highly recommend online tutoring and especially working with Matt!"
