Playing country music is blast. My favorite artists to teach are Vince Gill, Willie Nelson Emmylou Harris and Chet Atkins, but I teach contemporary country music as well.
We’ll go into style specific rhythm and lead playing as well as learn to play some of your favorite country songs note for note.

I have been teaching for 18 years and have taught hundreds of satisfied students. When you sign up for country guitar lessons, you will begin by learning the basics of the instrument including proper holding and playing position, tone production, rhythm, first position notes, basic chords and notation. Once you get the basics down, you will learn how to play your favorite songs regardless of style. All of this can happen within the first 4-6 months of playing.

I am an entirely self taught blues/rock guitarist with experience playin in bands. I have an approach to teaching that is different from many regulay teachers. Being self taught, i have learned from trial and error how to keep inspiration while practicing techniques. In my opinion, the biggest setback for most future guitarists is lack of interest/inspiration wich is the direct result of poor teaching and unnecessary lessons.
About Kevin
I am entirely self taught through trial and error. I have a very simplistic way of thinking about music that is very effective for teaching. In my opinion, the biggest detriment to learning musicians is getting overwhelmed by the vastness of music.

I am a classical guitarist originally but I also play acoustic, electric, fingerstyle, blues, bluegrass, country, and rock, and I am a master of music theory. I have been teaching for over 20 years and playing and performing for 25 years. My specialty is fingerstyle and I can teach from beginner to the highest advanced levels. I teach at a major University and have been an assistant professor of guitar at several colleges. I currently play and perform in a band that plays all kinds of music from Folk to Funk, from Country to Blues, from Bluegrass to Ballads. I am a music theory specialist. I have been teaching guitar professionally for over 4 years in the Atlanta area. As a recent graduate of Kennesaw State University with a degree in Jazz Guitar Performance, I have developed a deep love for music and the guitar which I thoroughly enjoy sharing with my students. I currently teach and perform, traveling across the United States with various groups performing a multitude of genres, all of which I love teaching and sharing with eager students! I was not a "natural" guitarist, so I have a great method for making guitar/music make sense so that all of my students can be successful. I look forward to working with you!
About Patrick
I am a professional guitarist, composer, and educator living in the Greater Atlanta Area. I started playing guitar while in high school at Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School. I owe a lot of my success to my time spent here as this school is consistently ranked one of the top schools in the nation. I

Ahmad is extremely talented, intelligent, and friendly and is always there to support me in whatever new musical concept I wish to learn next. He can help anyone looking to better themselves in a wide variety of areas regardless of the style of music you are interested in. I have been studying country and jazz with him primarily, as my goal is to be able to write my own music and put together a band some day. I have no intention of stopping music lessons with Ahmad as they continue to be something I look forward to every week. Anyone would be lucky to have such a great teacher."

Ahmad is relaxed and kind and that goes along way too."
