I teach all ages from beginner to intermediate students. Lessons are catered to the goals of each student, no two lessons the same.
For young beginners I teach rhythm and pith and focus on ways to get them excited about music.
for older/intermediate students I offer lessons on piano performance, music theory and history, music composition and recording.

Singing can be fun and enjoyable!! With over 30 years experience, I will develop each student's voice potential. We will develop your vocal range, increase pitch accuracy, develop breath control, resonance and many other things. As a vocal judge for many contests and events, I can also prep you for music contests and auditions. I have worked with young students, as young as 5 years old, and older adults as well. Many of my former students now sing in choirs and some even sing professionally. I am looking forward to helping you grow as a singer!

Students can expect that they will improve with me if diligent and focuses practice is put in every day. I will recommend books and tools to help them improve, as well as fundamental warm-ups and daily practice exercises designed to help them progress as quickly as they can (provided they are done correctly!).
The trombone has a wonderful sound, but there is a bit of a learning curve due to the slide (even though making that glissando/slide sound is a ton of fun). I am dedicated to work with my students to help them navigate the challenges that come from not having valves like the other brass instruments so they can really make the trombone sing!
Whether you are just looking to learn a new skill or make a living as a professional, I am passionate about helping my students to find their path in life as music makers. To me, this means bringing the music off the page, and finding/playing what has not been written in ink. Music is about more tha

Singing lessons that bring out the best in your voice! I am happy teaching a wide reange of genres related to singing (Though my speciality as a performer is in classical music). I believe that a strong foundation in musicality and vocal health can benefit anyone, and from that I can you move towards that specific style and aesthetic they are after, while emphasizing the strengths of uour natural voice. For younger students, the focus is more on instilling a joy of music as a whole and promoting musical literacy and ear skills. I believe that even if a someone does not pursue music long term, musical exposure can benefit focus, creativity, and confidence, as well as provide a healthy dose of fun.
I hold a Master's of Music in Voice from the University of Minnesota with a strong emphasis in vocal pedgagoy and phisiology. I look forward to working with you or your child and helping guide the voice to its maximum potential
