Piano Lessons in Dunlap. Amazing Teachers.

I teach all my students from the Alfred All-In-One Course Books (all levels), A Dozen A Day (Burnam), and Alfred Essentials of Music Theory. I select song pieces from my very extensive personal music library which contains books from all musical history periods and most musical genres. I have been playing piano since I was about 10 years old and personally love to play piano pieces from most genres. I have a Bachelor's in Music Education and have taken all four college level Class Piano Classes as well as private piano lessons as a child and in college.

Students learn music theory as applied to the keyboard, sight-reading, improvisation and the application of classical technique to modern styles.

I very much like but not take it seriously with an American way of learning skills by just having fun lessons without committed practice. I trust in every child’s sense of understanding and smart motivation.
Russian school of teaching piano is traditionally the best due to centuries of polishing teaching skills by greatest musicians and teachers. We strive to master both technique and artistry. However, in reality, to achieve this might be a challenge. A fun makes it better. I use a combined American and Russian approach. To help students keep progressing, balancing between hard work and fun attitude, between technical skills and artistically emotional performance is my philosophy and passion.

Private piano lessons for students ages 5-21. Beginners through advanced students. Lessons are tailored to meet the needs of each student. Technology implemented in the lessons.

I've been playing piano for over 20 years and love teaching the basics to new students! My students all learn excellent technique to strengthen the hands and sharpen the mind to set the best foundation for becoming intermediate and advanced musicians. How to read music is also included in the lessons.

I have over 20 years of experience playing as a professional musician. I teach students piano performance techniques for classical and jazz. Students are taught how to read music, chord and scale theory, improvisation, and how to play by ear.
