Thank you for considering me as your piano teacher! My desire is to share the love of music to you through technic and performance! I As a teacher, hearing my students musically take the notes off of the page and express themselves through the music is why I teach. As Beethoven once said, “music should strike fire from the heart of man, and bring tears from the eyes of woman.”

About Kelle

To begin with, I am a child of God. Second, I am a wife to a farmer and a mother to two little boys. Music is one of my passions. I took piano lessons for 17 years. The relationship I had with my teacher wasn’t just a student teacher relationship, it was a deep friendship. She mentored me during o

I have a passion for teaching people to sing to the best of their ability with the instrument they have been given! I want to teach others to sing like THEM, not like someone else or in a certain style, but to unlock their potential! There aren't shortcuts, but we can be relaxed, comfortable, and laugh on the journey to improvement! This is first and foremost a safe space to make mistakes and learn the correct way to use our bodies to sing. I have a bachelor's degree in music and performance from the University of North Georgia and have been teaching lessons for over eight years with students of all ages and backgrounds. I am excited to share what I have learned to help YOU sing to the best of your ability!

The best!
She's intelligent, detailed, funny, and understanding. She really works with students on a personal level to ensure we are improving in a safe, efficient and fun way. I'm a beginner singer but she works with me and makes lessons structured but comfortable and enriching. I've really learned a lot from her. Highly recommend lessons with Mrs. Melissa. You won't regret it.

My name is Maryanne Dymond Fiorentino. I started taking lessons with Melissa a few weeks ago. I have to say she is a very good voice instructor. She is kind, patient, and always wanting to help keep improving my craft. She pays close to eye on any mistakes and loves what she does she is very knowledgable and easy to talk to about anything regarding the voice singing and repertoire. I would like to say I give a 1 star to the take lessons online site Melissa and I have been working together on skype which is a zillion times better in being able to communicate.

I am a 22 year old senior music media major (emphasis in trombone) at the illustrious Norfolk State University. I study with the tuba player for the Virginia symphony and had a few lessons with one of their trombonists. I have been playing trombone since 2010, started off on trumpet before then. I play for 2 bands currently, Hot Gumbo Brass Band which is a New Orleans second line band and Infinite Flava which is an r&b group. At Norfolk state I have been in the jazz band, jazz combo, marching band (assistant section leader 2018 and head section leader 2019 for the trombone section), and symphonic band. I am well rounded in all facets of music. From classical all the way to the old tailgate trombone days. I have learned a lot from my mentors and think I am more than capable of getting my students on the right track. I prefer to teach beginner and intermediate, one of the hardest things to teach beginners is the pedagogy, how to make music instead of just playing the right notes. I have

I have four years of experience teaching elementary-high school age students in Long Island, NY, and online. My students have achieved top scores in state solo evaluations. I welcome students of all ages and levels! In teaching, my first goal is to nurture a love for music in students and guide them in learning to enjoy the process of creating music. I try to cater to a student's specific needs and interests in making learning flute a fun, rewarding experience. On a more technical level, I prioritize guiding students towards a strong basis of sound and efficient, healthy technique, first and foremost. I advocate for a sound that is resonant, free, and not constricted/diminished in any way by the body. I aim to equip students with the skills they need to improve and become their own best teachers: particularly in terms of practice techniques, warm-ups, exercises, etc.

So far Kevin seems to be a great teacher who is quite knowledgeable in his craft and patient enough to teach it, especially to a wiggly, middle-school boy."
