I grew up in China through High School and moved to American about 16 years ago. I am bilingual in Mandarin and English. I also live with my mom which I speak /text Mandarin with her everyday. I also don't have heavy accent (such as Beijing has very heavy "Er" accent when they speak). My accent is close to professional Chinese reporter.
I can practice conversational Chinese with you or teach you basic Chinese if you are a beginner. I can also help you with your Chinese homework, writing etc.
If you prefer me to prepare a lesson, I will use the best teaching books out there such as "Modern Mandarin Chinese Grammar: A Practical Guide” (Modern Grammars)" , “Fundamentals of Chinese Characters” (Yale University Press), “Niubi!: The Real Chinese You Were Never Taught in School”, etc. Or whichever text books that you prefer to use.
