Daniela is wonderful and our lessons are always fun. She lets me play pieces that I enjoy plus introduces me to new music that she believes I will also enjoy. She allows me to play freely but will correct my mistakes (wrong fingering :). But this only make me a better player and learning a new piece easier. As an adult learner I cannot say enough good things about her and her style. I really enjoy my lessons with her and I highly recommend her.

Daniela is obviously a skilled piano teacher. She connects well with my 8 year old son, and I am continually surprised by all of the details that she is able to perceive over skype- every finger placement, gesture, etc. She is careful, thorough, and kind. We are thankful to have found her.

If I could give Brian 10 stars, I would. He is enthusiastic, present, supportive and highly knowledgeable. Learning instruments has always been a challenge for me , but Brian makes being a banjo beginner an absolute joy. I look forward to practicing every day, and can really hear my progress - which amazes me because it's only been just over a month. I can see myself working with Brian for the long haul. He puts me at ease, and always gives great responsive tips that improve my playing immediately. I feel SO lucky to have stumbled across his profile.

"Hannah was an incredible instructor. She worked very well with my goals and was kind and patient. She explained concepts well and was extremely knowledgeable and experienced. I could tell she cared about me as a person and not just as a student, which I really appreciated. I would consider her a friend as well as a teacher. I’d recommend her to anyone!"

"I switched to David for my piano lessons after another teacher. I was bored with lessons and it was difficult for me to continue. I didn't feel any interest to continue because all lessons were mechanical repetitions and just practice. Starting with David was like starting everything anew. What a difference. He is wonderful teacher, kind and caring. His love and interest for music is contagious. Lessons became fun and was looking forward to practice with him. I strongly recommend him as a teacher. If you are bored with yours and loosing passion for music - do yourself a favor and switch to David."

"My lesson was very rewarding - excellent instructor , if you have a question he has an answer . He knows the guitar - Mr. Tomas makes you feel at ease , I was having a problem with my short fingers . He told me all the things that I was not doing correct and this was my first lesson - He made me feel really good when I did something right .

I have known Mr . Tomas for a short period of time and believe me if he can teach me and I am 70 years old and I have tired taking lessons before and they never worked out . Mr . Tomas is the person to go with ."

What's the Difference Between the Violin and Fiddle?

Is that a fiddle... or a violin? It's a common question, and one that baffles many beginner musicians. So what's the answer? When it comes to the actual instrument, there actually aren't any differences. What distinguishes a violin from a fiddle is what kind of music you're playing with it. A musician playing folk, bluegrass or country, for example, would most likely refer to their instrument as a fiddle; those who play other genres (jazz, classical, etc.) typically call theirs a violin. …
