I'm a personal trainer - for your voice! My trainings incorporate modern twists on the most effective techniques from the Swedish-Italian school of singing. I use this classical technique as the foundation for compelling vocals in commercial styles, such as pop, soul, and rock. You will learn how to use your body and breath together to produce powerful and beautiful sound!
Your lessons are handcrafted - warmups, exercises, and all - to wherever you are in your vocal journey. Through each lesson, you will receive the tools you need to strengthen your voice and reach your goals. Let's have fun crafting a voice that stands out. Message me to get started, I can't wait to meet you!

I started lessons with her right about the time COVID had started and our sessions have been done online. Over the course of a few months, I have felt and heard the improvement in my singing abilities through her guidance. So if you have any doubts about taking lessons online (ignoring the current situation), rest assured that you'll be in good hands with her. She will make sure you understand and fully grasp the concepts and techniques that she teaches you and how to apply them. Even if it takes hearing the most ridiculous analogy for you to comprehend it. Every lesson caters to what you're working on or need more assistance with. So every warm up or exercise has purpose. You also have the freedom of selecting the song you'd like to work on which makes the experience all the better and more personal.
I had developed bad singing habits after attempting to teach myself several times in the past. Like many others, I also hate the sound of my own voice. Moriah though has been patient as well as supportive and helped me undo those bad habits. She's also taught me to have better control, have stronger breath support, how to analyze the phrasing and pronunciation of a lyric, know proper resonance placement, and be more confident about my voice.
A big part of picking a coach or instructor is being able to connect with them and building a good rapport. Moriah has a welcoming and supportive personality, but knows the meaning of hard work and persistence and she will expect that in order for you to progress.
I have a ways to go until I reach where I would like to be in my journey of singing, but I chose Moriah and there have been no regrets.
Her lessons usually start of with a couple of stretches (usually just upper body). This is to help relax your body, jaw, mouth, etc before singing. Then she will do some vocal warms that at first seem pretty basic, and not intense, but they will help you in the long run! Trust me. Then she will practice with you a song you want to try to sing or need help with. As you progress, she will have you work on reading music and other skills. (Course, she is open to working on anything more or less as you need). Once again, your lesson is customized on what YOU need.
I’ve been working with her since July 2018. I know that I have improved on ear training immensely! I am able to pick up melodies much faster than before. I am able to sing more powerful than before which is something I struggle with consistently. She will push you! She will take you out of your comfort and push you to have confidence in yourself. She has a great personality. Kind. Fun. Energetic. Intelligent beyond her years. I’m continuing to take lessons with her until she makes me the next Beyoncé or something.
So I highly recommend her. Book a few lessons with her, attend them, don’t forget to take your water, and a recoding device, be responsible and take it serious because she is taking you serious. After all you’re paying for the lessons. You want to improve. And you will.
I’m looking forward to continue working with her and be stretched more.

I have been singing since I was 10 years old and since I started professionally at 14, I've performed in over 15 different countries around the world and done arena tours and festivals. Vocal training is extremely important for a singer, even the most experienced artists have vocal coaches their entire lives. I've been teaching young people to sing since 2010 and I'm very keen to continue to see them all grow as artists! My methods vary from person to person as I like to find out their individual goals and go from there, but I usually take the first lesson to get to know them and find out their strengths and weaknesses, and work on a lesson plan that helps them as well as having fun.

One of my favorite aspects of teaching private lessons is that I get to find out and help shape my students' goals, whether it be recording their own music, auditioning for music programs/competitive music scholarships, or simply gaining confidence as a singer! I have always loved singing! I sang everywhere I went, was in the choir at church and even lead our worship team during Sunday mornings. I have continued to sing and it has helped me with my other instrumental playing. I play the piano which helps with the accompaniment of singers. I have had a few singing students and we have had nothing short of a good time together! We will learn music together and have you singing your favorite songs like a champ in no time!
