My first introduction to the world of music, was through the Mandolin. At the age of twelve, while playing in a Mandolin Orchestra, I soon became a soloist. This allowed me the experience of touring and traveling throughout the United States. In addition, I began taking master classes under the direction of Mike Marshall which further enriched my knowledge and appreciation of the mandolin.

Worldwide the mandolin is a very versatile and popular instrument. Folk music and jazz, “just feels right” – as the student experiences the versatility of playing the mandolin.

About Patricio

I remain current in a wide variety of musical styles including Jazz, Rock, Blues, Classical and Mexican Folklore. I have also worked playing Greek music. My teaching experience includes teaching children in primary school, as well as individuals of all ages. After thirty years in my musical

I feel fortunate to have Bill as my teacher. Bill is an outstanding player and teacher. I have been able to progress far faster with lessons with Bill than I could on my own.
Chandler
When Bill was my band director over a decade ago, he was the best music teacher I'd had at that point. After reconnecting with him and having him work with me on my techniques more recently as an adult player, that opinion still stands very strongly. He has a wonderful way of phrasing things that help you just "get it," and has expert advice from everything from fundamentals and helping you achieve your best sound, to more advanced techniques such as double and triple tonguing.
Rolando
Bill is a great pedagogue and a fabulous trumpet player! Thank you for the great information!

I’m a conservatory trained musician, with years of professional experience. I enjoy the balance of my work as a singer/songwriter, performer, producer and vocal coach.

As your instructor, I will help you build a solid foundation in vocal technique through breathing and vocal exercises suited to your style and skill while tailoring to your personal goals. We will then apply the technique to songs.

For those interested in performance, I can help coach your performance skills to help you feel confident, about singing on stage!

"My son has been taking lessons with Ed since he was 5. Ed was very patient dealing with a high energy child who had a limited attention span. Eight years later, we are still seeing Ed weekly for lessons and my son has turned into a well-rounded musician. Ed tailors the lessons to my son's musical interests and takes an interest in what is going on in his life.

We have gone to see Ed perform in several venues and he always takes the time to talk to us during his break. I highly recommend Drum Lessons with Ed for those at any skill level."
