*** Lesson Details *** My goal as a teacher is to make students successful in their goals. I work with a variety of people; some of them study music for personal enjoyment and others for their musical career. Everyone responds differently to music, that is why I prepare special lessons for each student. It is important that my students enjoy what they are playing and for that reason I have a variety of repertoire that they can choose from. From a lot of experience with beginner piano students, both young and adults, I have been able to find a regimen of piano teaching that combines time efficiency with fun. As the lessons continue, I slowly add new tools to each weekly lesson that are exiting and interesting. While working with intermediate to advanced students, I have had coached them to apply and get accepted into some of the top Universities and Conservatories in the country. My students, beginner intermediate and advanced levels, have been awarded for their performances and activities in schools and competitions. I am also a composition teacher. I work with composition students from beginner to advance. My composition students, over the years, range from all ages starting at 7. My students, after the first year, have been able to write string quartets and piano trios. My advanced students have entered competitions all over the country and are very successful in their composition practice. Some of their compositions have been performed in famous concert halls and schools. As a vocal coach, I work with students of all ages. The repertoire that I recommend to beginner students includes Disney, Broadway and classical music. For intermediate and advanced vocal student, I have successfully prepared them for competitions, Broadway and University auditions as well as personal enjoyment. Most recently I held a piano, composition and vocal recital for my students at the world famous Steinway Hall in New York City. I believe that some students work better when there is motivation for performance activities. For that reason I host these type of events. Students that decide they want to take place in these events perform among all levels. I offer these performance opportunities as an invitation. Each student has a choice as to whether they would like to perform.

Bryan is a lifelong student trained in both Contemporary and Classical methodology. Bryan's extensive education paired with his passion for music make him the perfect teacher for any student. Bryan's love for music started at a young age. He began taking private guitar lessons at the age of 10 learning the basics. This knowledge has served as the basis for all of his musical training as it provided a strong backbone of fundamental skills to build upon. Graduating from the University of Oregon in 2005, he practiced and perfected the classical approach to music. Bryan's education continued at the Musicians Institute based in the music capital of the world, Los Angeles. Here he diversified his music skills with vigorous training in the contemporary study of music. This contrast allows Bryan to teach everything from Rock n' Roll to Beethoven!
Bryan Specializes in the guitar and Bass Guitar; however, he is proficient in piano and drums as well. Hello, my name is Lilia! I have over a decade experience in teaching and offer private lessons in guitar, piano, and voice with a balance between theory, technique, and and ear training to help you play the songs you love to listen to.
I created my own lesson book for guitar and am currently working on creating lesson books for piano. These lesson books use popular songs to keep learning engaging and fun! In 2017, my husband and I created our own music lesson program called Suncho School of Music!
In addition to music, I have always had a love of sports and fitness and earned a certification in personal training from the American Council on Exercise. I love to share both my passions for fitness and music with whomever would like to learn from me.
My education includes a degree in Guitar Performance from the California Institute
of the Arts, earned in 2014.
In addition to teaching, I play the role of as the lead vocalist, guitarist, and composer in my rock band, called Karkaza. We are currently working on recording our debut album and playing shows in Los Angeles and other states in the US.
My favorite part of teaching is knowing that I helped the student have a better day and give them a rewarding activity to look forward to every week. Feel free to reach out any time, I would be happy to chat with you!

lessons too with him."

"I'm an avid fan of hers and attend the concerts she puts on for her students in winter and spring. She only teaches violin, but she is very knowledgeable
of music in general and helped me practice notes and counting on piano. She also taught me how to correctly hold the bow for a cello, when before I thought a cello was just a larger violin.
She raves about her students' progress to me a lot. I find that enthusiasm is contagious and I know her love for teaching positively influences her students--just this year I could hear the improvement many of them made in the months between their winter and spring concerts."
"Very good teacher"
"Excellent engaging passionate teacher. She makes learning easy and fun. Can't wait for my next class."
"Justine was very patient and kind yet offered the right about of constructive criticism. She always picked great songs for my daughter to play as well.
