I have been playing guitar for 15 years. I make lesson plans based on each individual, so I don't teach every one the same boring songs or use the same regiment with everyone. I want to teach you what YOU want to learn.

About Jeremie

I'm a self taught guitarist who has been playing for 20 years. I have played professionally in numerous bands and ensembles ranging from jazz to folk to rock, and I've been writing music for the same length of time. I currently perform with one of my students from TakeLessons named Mackenzie O'Brie

He is clear and precise in his teaching, and is also fun. I highly recommend him to whoever is considering it. I believe that learning music should be as fun and inspiring as it can be to play. We all have a vast wellspring of creative energy within us, and the goal of the relationship between the student and the teacher is to help nurture and develop that latent talent. For this reason, my approach to teaching music is highly individualized. I start out with the premise that the student has unique gifts and my job is to help them discover what those are, and develop and refine them in order to make beautiful and deeply satisfying music, through whatever instrument and in whatever style they are drawn towards.

Depending on one's starting level of experience, some basic exercises will be assigned to develop core skills, with increasing levels of technical challenge and complexity. Elements of music theory will be woven into practical lessons. Students will have the choice to incorporate material from popular and familiar music into their studies, and as they progress they will be encouraged to

I Googled "guitar teacher, Roseburg, OR" and low and behold, Sean showed up and boy I'm glad he did!!! Sean and I hit it off instantly and the things I wanted to get better at (finger picking, hammer(s) on and off, picking the notes within chords, etc.) Sean was completely versed in! Long story short... I couldn't be happier with Sean as a teacher and as a person he's totally cool as well! I recommend Sean unequivocally and if you want to start to play guitar or even get better as I do, Sean is your guy, no doubt about it!!!

"I've been taking lessons with Aidan for almost a year now.

Aidan is a fantastic teacher. He is able to tailor his teaching style to each individual student, and keep the lesson fun and engaging even while going over complicated music theory concepts. He is very flexible both with his schedule (he's quite understanding that adult students often have conflicts that prevent them from attending class regularly) and with his musical abilities (he appears comfortable diving into most genres of music and can easily pick out a tune by ear).

I highly recommend taking a class with Aidan."

Mr. Blackwell totally understands this and uses a teaching method, that while challenging, it is not overwhelming. He also covers all the bases like sight reading, theory and improvisation, as well as a broad array is different styles of music. I really enjoy my lessons and my playing has greatly improved."

She does a great job mixing music reading, theory, and learning songs I want to learn. It’s also wonderful that she sings and she incorporates that into her teaching so I learn to play with a vocalist. I believe any student can progress with her approach and have a lot of fun learning too."

Pink Floyd Guitar Lesson | How to Play Like David Gilmour

When it comes to incredible guitar players, David Gilmour of Pink Floyd takes the cake. In this article, teacher Bernard M. shows you how to play the guitar just like the legend himself...   Many musicians strive to sound like their heroes. They want to get that special something that makes those legends stand out from the crowd. One of the best ways you can do this is to learn their parts -- beat for beat, note for note. While this can be difficult and time consuming, it's on …
