Started with some basics and built on that. Was very helpful in showing me tuning, proper hand positioning, and how to improve my fingering (those pesky notes). Got a lot for the first class and enough homework to keep me busy! Will be meeting again next week.

I’m recent college graduate with a BS in Music Education, and have experience teaching kids and young adults. I specialize in classical and opera style but enjoy singing pop and musical theater as well! I am a young adult, so I am well suited to teach young students! I know what kind of music they want to learn and I know how to teach them to sing it correctly. However, I am always up to a new challenge, so all ages are welcome! The most important thing to me is that the students have fun during the lesson, but they also utilize proper technique in order not to hurt themselves. My lessons will include warm ups and technique practice, as well as the practice of music assigned. The music assigned will come from a variety of different styles, and the students will be allowed to choose some of it for themselves. I want to help you sing beautifully!

I'm a beginner at guitar and never did I think that after 3 lessons I would be playing the iconic rock songs that I know and love! Moa has an uncanny way of breaking things down and making a complex instrument easy to learn. I've throughly enjoyed every lesson thus far, and look forward to eventually becoming proficient with Moa's help!

"Roberta is amazing! I went to her for a little more than 3 years for voice (and piano for a little bit) and she is very helpful, skilled, friendly, knowledgable, and fun. She helped me get into my top choice college as a choral music major with a full tuition scholarship and supported me the entire way. Roberta knows how to work with any voice with any level of experience of any age. Not only is Robera a fantastic teacher; she is also very understanding and a great person to talk to. "My main goal in searching for s voice coach was to find a teacher who would challenge me to grow while at the same time help me to build confidence and a sense of freedom when singing. In my very first lesson, Stephanie had me hitting notes that I had not been able to sing for at least a decade. Amazing! Stephanie possesses all of the qualities I was looking for in a vocal coach and more. She is knowledgeable, skillful, patient, compassionate, and flexible. I definitely have seen growth in my skill and abilities, and I look forward to continuos improvement with her as my coach. I highly recommend her services!"
