I started taking drum lessons at age 22 so I felt too old to begin learning how to play a new instrument. I'm so glad that Dennis was my teacher. He gave me confidence and encouragement to become the great drum player I am today. His methods of teaching are well rounded, his lesson plans are efficient and since day one he guaranteed I would be ready to play songs with a band in only 6 months. Indeed I started playing with several bands after 6 months of having lessons with Dennis. I highly recommend him as a drum teacher and mentor!

V patient w/beginners and provided excellent tips and encouragement. Would recommend to anyone starting out on drums or adding another instrument to their repertoire. Provided great insight that also helped in cross-training, if already playing another instrument.

I've studied with several teachers over the years, but Dennis was the best. I was a novice and Dennis took me to the next level. I'm forever grateful.

Laura is amazing. We're so fortunate to have come across her here. She's talented, patient, and encouraging of my daughter's singing. She has a gift for bringing out the best in her and challenging her to sing beyond what she knew she was capable of.

About April

I picked up music when I was very young and have never looked back. I started with the piano and then moved on to the violin, of which I competed regularly in up until high school. In high school I switched the viola and found it to me even more amazing. During high school I competed again in music between schools, the San Diego Youth Orchestra. I currently work with several students with special needs such as Autism and other Neurological delays. My son is Autistic and music was a great way for him to express himself. I found that the other children I work with on the spectrum have more abilities to express themselves through music then with words. I also work with students that are not yet comfortable with themselves and getting them to breath and enjoy the music helps bring them out of their shells.

I regularly find myself jamming o

ut with another music instructor every chance we get. Music is a great relief and enjoyment that I want to share with as many people as I can. I am currently in college getting my Bachelors degree in History with a minor in Music.

About Jenny

For more than 20 years I have taught piano to boys and girls as young as 3 years old, and while getting to know one another each student will be playing songs by the end of our first lesson! Research shows that music education helps in other areas of brain development And as an early education teacher I am dedicated to keeping lessons developmentally appropriate and fun! I often show students where subjects like math languages and history can also be studied through music . I'm classically trained and teach classical style but also encourage self expression and popular well known music to keep even the youngest students interested and excited about lessons. I have worked extensively over the years with all ages of children in many disciplines but piano has always been my first and foremost love teaching those lessons for more than

20 years has kept me abreast of the newest techniques and latest styles.

I also joined other community orchestras such as: Bellflower Symphony, Los Angeles Valley College Symphony, Manassas Symphony, and Washington Sinfonietta. I visit Interlochen and Curtis Summerfest to play chamber music with other musicians. I like to share my knowledge and experience to my students. My top priority is to get my students to play beautifully with each bow strokes. My notable teachers include: Ricardo Cyncynates, Rochelle Abramson, and Guido Lamell.

Music is a universal language that should be integrated into our daily lives! Don't hesitate to contact me to schedule your violin lesson!

"Ahmad is very energetic and passionate about guitar and teaching guitar to people. He is very organized and systematic in his teaching. His style of teach
ing enables students to learn and get to know a wide variety of guitar aspects very quickly. He breaks up lessons into short but consumable modules while at the same time giving something concrete to start playing and get going from the word go whether you are a beginner or not. I've been going to him for several months now and would highly recommend Ahmad for his guitar teaching skills!"
