Private one-on-one saxophone instruction has been my primary vocation for nearly 30 years. I've also worked as a professional performing musician for over 35 years. Each lesson is tailored to the tastes and needs of the student, with traditional method books rarely used once the basics are under control. Instruction is based on a strong working knowledge of scales. The informed use of these scales leads to a heightened understanding of improvisation, ear training, and other practical aspects of music theory. Students are encouraged to choose from a variety of jazz standards and transcriptions, classical themes, and pop tunes that I’ve transcribed and engraved. Rudimentary instruction is also available for saxophonists wishing to learn flute and/or clarinet.

I have been teaching voice lessons since I was in college! People kept asking me to teach them, so I did. I teach both classical and musical theatre singing, so if you would like to learn to belt or sing in Italian, I can help! I am experienced in French, Italian and German diction. For musical theatre, I teach both classical style (high voice) and belt (lower voice). I have a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities with a Music emphasis, so I can also help with aural skills like counting systems and solfege. Solfege will help A TON if you want to pursue music in college. For younger singers, I can help with picking appropriately ranged songs to build vocal agility and strength.

If you are just starting out with the guitar, I am your 'gal'! I make learning the basics of the strings, the tuning, and the music really fun! but as with learning any new language or instrument, the follow up requisite practice and purchase/download of recommended supplementary materials is totally up to you, the student. If you practice what I show you in each lesson every day, you will notice progress!

Experienced teacher and concert violinist, works with beginner to advanced students. Graduate of Manhattan School of Music & Yale University. I help students become their own best teachers, develop their ear and learn a natural technique to communicate the music most effectively. Technique is applied in the context of the music, and students will learn to develop and apply their musical instincts and gain an organic understanding of musical style, history, theory, and performance.

I have been playing guitar for over 30 years—since 1987—and I'm ready to pass my knowledge and experience along to you. I teach all ages, all levels, and all styles (but my specialties are rock and blues). I am a member of Mu Phi Epsilon, the international professional music fraternity, having been initiated in 1998 at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, while I was attending their music education program.

I'm based in Marietta/East Cobb (just outside of Atlanta), but I'm proud to offer lessons to almost anywhere* that the internet and your computer can reach.

Hi, I'm Rachel. I just graduated from the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester this May, with my Bachelor's degree in Cello Performance. This summer I relocated to the Philadelphia area, which is where I am originally from. I have been playing cello since I was five years old & I have experience with the Suzuki method as well as other approaches. I teach music theory and give private cello lessons to students of all ages and levels. While my background is in classical music, my goal is to help my students master any piece of music they are excited about. I am so excited to share my love for the cello with any and all potential students.
