Music Performance Percussion from Colburn Conservatory
Teaches students 5 and up
I have been teaching for about 8 years with students ranging from beginner to advanced. All ages are welcome! I also welcome all different styles of music from rock, to jazz, and even classical. Each lesson is catered specifically to the student. I want each student to be able to reach their own specific goals, while having the time of their life!
Drummer Sean C., 31, started playing at age 7 when he began studying with Mark Foster, a local free-lance percussionist in the Denver area. After high school he enrolled at the Colburn Conservatory in LA, where he studied with Jack van Geem, former Principal Percussionist of the San Francisco Sympho
Sean really knows percussion. I've witnessed this both during lessons and when my family watched him perform with the Lone Tree Symphony. Sean is wonderful with kids. Although my son has attention issues, Sean is extremely patient, and he is able to efficiently redirect and focus my son. With Sean, music lessons are enjoyable. He has taken the time to get to know my son and how my son learns. I feel like the lessons are tailored extremely well for my child's abilities. Best of all, Sean is just a wonderful person. He's easy to talk to and has a great sense of humor. My son looks forward to his lessons with Sean each week. You won't find a better percussion instructor!

One of the most common tips that Spanish teachers will tell their students is to watch shows in Spanish for listening comprehension. But what should you watch? More often than not, I find students who are learning Spanish on their own to end up watching “Narcos” or “El Señor de Los Cielos”. Although they are great shows, I wouldn’t suggest watching them for educational purposes. There are a lot of words and phrases that we should avoid using when we converse in Spanish. Especi …
