About Marc
Percussionist and composer Marc W. was born in Switzerland, where he studied classical percussion at the Geneva Conservatory. He has lived in the United States since the 1980's, where he studied composition and mallet technique on the vibraphone at the Berklee School in Boston, then moved to New York City to further his jazz performance and percussion skills. Since that time, Marc has toured the U.S., Europe, Japan and Brazil, and can be heard on over 20 recordings, including 4 solo albums.
Marc's interest in electronics led him to push the boundaries of live performance with the "electronic vibraphone", where he is recognized as a pioneer on this instrument.
Beside a performer and a composer, Marc teaches workshops here and in Europe, and is very involved in making computers accessible to visually impaired musicians.
Marc has just p

This book demonstrates the techniques he developed during his many years teaching ensembles of all ages at the Filomen M. Marc is a great teacher. Classes are always very friendly and productive. In my case, each class begins with a review of progress/practice, and ends with a meaningful and personalized homework. He is also very flexible, sometimes I had to move my classes around and he's always super responsive and understanding. I knew nothing about drums, and I am happy I decided to begin my journey to learn how to play them, with Marc as a mentor!

About Stephenie
I earned my Theater and Dance degree from Chapman University in 1998, and moved to New York City where I spent 10 years pursuing a performing arts career, both in theater and as a singer/songwriter. I found minor professional success as a recording artist and studio musician, and performed in numerous off-off Broadway theater productions while teaching theater and dance to children at the Bronx Community Center and also private voice lessons in the recording studio.

Since becoming a mother I have been giving voice lessons from my home. I have had 3 of my voice students audition for X Factor and The Voice. I love to pass on what I know and what I've learned to the next generation of artists and performers.

*** Lesson Details ***
My teaching style is fun and energetic, lots of positive reinforcement but also high expectations to
do your best and be disciplined, especially when it comes to practicing at home. The only way to really learn is to do it!
Each lesson we will warm up, review technique and work on your current song or scene. Ideally you will build up a repertoire of material you have mastered and can perform.
After 3 to 6 months with me, you should be able to perform or audition with complete confidence and skills that will blow them away!

*** Studio Equipment ***
Lessons supported with a full weighted keyboard and professional grade microphone, and computer for streaming karaoke instrumentals. Full PA system available.

*** Specialties ***
method acting
presentation acting (as in Shakespeare)
comedic timing
Broadway musical "belting"
opera vocal skills
pop singing
folk singing
songwriting skills
phrasing and theme
recording studio basics
proper microphone technique

Stephanie makes our 10-year old daughter feel so comfortable. She actually loves learning more about singing and the few techniques she has learned has helped her immensely! Gianna does not worry about singing in a microphone or in front of people as much. She's so into it that she's singing and whistling more and more around the house! It's well worth the drive.

About Kimberly
I am a trained actress in my late 20's. I have experience coaching many professional working actors. I have worked on audition sides for TV (Law & Order, Narcos, Disney, SMILF, etc), independent films, big budget studio films, web series, off broadway plays, off off broadway plays, monologues, and anything in between with my students!

I am currently the creator, writer, lead actress & executive producer of my own comedic web series (to air mid-2018).

I have been trained by exceptional teachers in the following: Linklater (voice), Williamson (movement), film/tv & theater, script analysis, theater & film history, cold reading, monologue, stand-up comedy, etc. I have also been mentored by the legendary standup comedian Rick Crom.

I can also work with the actor, writer or comedian on the business aspect of their career: how can I
get the best headshot?, what things should I be doing everyday to reach my acting goals (some may not even be acting/writing/comedy!)?, how do I get in front of this specific casting director/producer/etc?, what events/workshops should I be attending? We can go over all that plus how to deal with nerves, get through personal blocks, fear-related patterns, and other things that may be holding you back from being the best artist you can be!

I believe training is so important so congrats on taking the first step towards a successful, exciting career! I can't wait to share my passions with you!

I have a self tape set-up with a backdrop, professional lighting & tripod. I am happy to be your reader & coach as we film your audition, scene or stand up set. We can use this as a tool to improve or film a self tape audition. We can also chose your best take together.

I started playing the clarinet in the 5th grade and have been playing for 18+ years. I enjoy sharing my passion for playing the clarinet and enjoy teaching and looking for ways to help someone learn. I specialize in scales, fundamentals and general study for beginners (all ages).

I have performed with local (SEIBA), collegiate (Central College & University of Iowa), and state (Iowa) honor bands with the clarinet.

Lessons take place in my home office (in person or virtually); message me to see if this might be a fit for you.

Fun Facts:
* I have a rescue dog whose name was Princess in the shelter. I couldn't take her "title" away, so her full title is "Princess Molly of Merriam" - Call her Molly :)
* I also play the tuba, flute, marimba/bells, valve trombone & piano
* I love home projects
* Did you watch my video? You'll see
that I have worked with some pretty incredible accounts (work related, not music related)
* I took my passion for performing and let it help me pay for college!

About Michelle
Michelle is a voice and piano teacher with over 12 years of experience in the private sector. She has an intense passion for the musical journey that each individual takes on and caters her lessons to fit each student. Let's face it, we're not all the same, so why should our journey be the same.

Along with her passion, her credentials include a BA in Voice from UW-Whitewater, WI. And for further development, she has taken part in Muiskgarten certifications (intro music classes), recording technology classes at MMI (Madison Media Institute), Songwriting workshops at Berkley School of Music in Boston, MA, and is a member of the MTNA (Music Teachers National Association).

She insists that her students take part in the local chapter auditions for the WMTA (Wisconsin Music Teachers Association) every year. By doing this, she prepares them
for future performances and gives them confidence in their music ability. She also holds 1 - 2 recitals for her
students yearly which gives the students ample time to show off their new skills to the family!

I am a certified instructor for Robert Whitford Piano Courses and Piano by Ear. In high school I was introduced to playing with chords along with the melody. That is where I learned of my gift playing by ear. Over the years of teaching, I realized that teaching these methods could help even traditional piano students excel in music theory and composing songs. I have been writing music for the past 40 years and now have created a "crash course" called Keyboard by Ear of all that I have learned over my lifetime. The two levels can be broken down into 30-60 minute lessons. The 2 levels can be completed in 12 weeks with 60 minute lessons. My greatest joy is in seeing students have "A-Haw" Musical Moments in a very short period of time.
