I have been playing the guitar for over 20 years, have experience performing classical and rock music, and have the ability to teach children, teens, and adults how to read music for the guitar. Originally I was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1979. I have been in Hawaii for 15 years now and have lived on three different Islands. I used to play for Forward Reggae band on Big Island and the Big Island music school. I have been playing guitar for 22 years. I have played live and professionally on and off for different bands in my twenties but now am a returning student at UH working on another degree in teaching, so I prefer to just teach mostly now instead of play live. I can teach and play many different styles including classical, flamenco, reggae, blues, jam band music, punk, alternative, folk, and finger picking guitar. I'm currently working on fingerstlye arrangements! I teach enough music theory to actually understand songs you personally want to learn or listen too. I teach ...
